Best staycation ever!
For my mom’s Birthday, we stayed at Opal for as staycation. It was really great! When we checked in, they gave us complementary champagne. The hotel was beautiful and our room with the oceanfront view was incredible. We’ll definitely be back.

The minute you walk in you feel relaxed. The hotel is very nice and very clean. The staff was extra accommodating and very nice. We loved the location, by the beach and to Atlantic ave. Highly recommend!

The Opal Grand is a Marriott, spruced up a bit. Bathroom is no different, and a little awkward since the sink is not inside the bathroom and anyone can see in from the hallway. Staff was excellent. Fun bar. Good food.

Listen the staff was super friendly, except for one guy at the front desk who was dismissive and rude. I wish I caught his name because he acted like an entitled little d*ck. And I never leave comments like this. That said, it’s a nice enough resort and overall we had a pleasant stay.

Consider another part of Florida
The lobby is beautiful and a good place to meet friends (we were there for a wedding). But the service at this hotel wasn’t great. Very difficult to obtain non-down pillows. Lots of confusion among staff when requests were made. The pool is pretty overcrowded and we are not in peak season yet. We heard the rooms at the Seagate were more updated/better.

Booked an oceanfront room and was given a room with a view of a brick wall taller than me. reached out to front desk, was apparently given the correct room. I’m not sure where the disconnect is between an oceanfront room vs a room with a view of a brick wall but I am NOT happy.
