The staff was really nice. We stayed for 1 night and it was a beautiful hotel next to the beach. We got a complimentary drinks and room upgrade. Taxi are right outside which makes it super easy and convenient. Definitely recommend!!

I stayed here as bookends to my vacation in Mexico. The staff were super friendly! The concierge gave great suggestions for experiencing the Yucatan culture and shared excitement for my solo adventure. They not only upgraded me to a room with an ocean view on the first night, but to a Villa Master Suite with a kitchen for the last night. The rooms were clean and the views phenomenal. You can hear the music and merry-making from the neighboring hotel, but it is my understanding that Zona Hotelera is mixed with party hotels, so I expected this. I slept well both nights regardless of any noise. The pools and hot tubs were nice, with very attentive staff offering food and drinks.The beach was clear of sargassum with pristine water and fine sand. I swam for hours off to the left of the palapas. Chedraui Selecto is within a 10 min walk. You can easily ride the local bus from a couple blocks of the property to go throughout the city, even to the ADO station. They also have taxis and excursions available, if that is what you prefer. Big thanks to the staff for a great experience at your hotel.

Service of fiesta Americana is amazing! Staff are so friendly and able to accommodate your needs. We were lucky to get upgraded into this amazing room for our honeymoon. The food, the service, the staff, location and our bedroom view was the top tier of our trip!

The food options are limited and only one restaurant open because it is quite season so the main dinner are closed inside the hotel. The pool is dirty through out the day. The area to Rinse off sand is clogged up. The upgrade room is big with kitchen but no kettle for tea or coffee. The bed is comfortable. The tub/shower is hard to get in and out and the draining is so slow that before I finished my shower my feet is under water with soap scum. The balcony is the view of next door pool and lobby which it is noisy with music and people until after 11pm. The property needs to fix and update the drains and better maintenance and management. Staffs are friendly and some only want to sell you their products which we are not interested in. Shopping mall and some shops across the street are shutdown. We took Uber to the Isla mall which about 15-20 minutes away. There are restaurants pass the supermarket and Starbucks. The food at the hotel was a disappointment for us. For the price $25-30 USD is not worth it. We went to get food elsewhere for the rest of the time we were there. It is hit or miss for us with decent food with this trip.

Dated, dated hotel. While the location is great and the staff is friendly and attentive, the room was dated and in need of upgrades. The shower was dirty and very hard to get in and out. I’m not sure how an older person would be able to climb into the tub to shower.

The hotel was nice, but really needs some updating to the rooms. Our sliding doors to the balcony was old and didn’t want to open, and there seemed to be some type of tape on the windows. If you want to eat somewhere other than the hotel, you have to walk a little ways… the only other really nice restaurants beside the ones in the hotel are at the mall, and you have to Uber or take a taxi. Never felt unsafe at all, but the area could use some updates!

The hotel is highly recommended. Our repeat visits are always excellent. The staff are superbly friendly and helpful. The buffet is always fresh and overflowing with all kinds of delicious foods. The only negative is that despite Uber is announced by the local government as welcome in Cancun, local drivers still face violence from the taxi syndicate. We were intimidated by a taxi driver for attempting to take Uber and ultimately we decided to take a bus. We don’t want to see the syndicate suffocate Cancun like what happened to Acapulco.
