property was clean, if you want quiet it is quiet (too quiet for us). I would avoid the membership sales pitch (said 90 minutes & took 3 hrs, and the spa certificates they give are for individual treatments when if you do the regular packages it is cheaper without certificates) and as far as the spa i would say ok, we have done a lot of spas all around the world and it would be the bottom of my list and extremely over priced for the quality of treatments, food was pretty good for an all inclusive, beach was beautiful and kept pretty clean of seaweeds, service was pretty good (except for a run in we had with a Paula). it is a pretty. nice and clean place.

We had the best honeymoon ever! Miguel our concierge at room 2411 was incredible. He was always smiling and eager to attend to our needs. The room service was always fast, hot and delicious. The bartenders poured great cocktails and didn't cheap out on the liquor or give us gut rot quality. The front desk and Hans were very welcoming during our checkin and arrival process which can sometimes be like buying a new car at the Ford dealership. The valet and bellmen were so sweet and kind and always had me laughing. I would say the greatest attribute of Secrets Maroma is the staff. Without a doubt the best service so far in Mexico. They get 5-Stars and 5-Diamonds from me. We will return again next year and we can't wait to see everyone again.

We had a pleasant stay at this resort, with the beautiful Maroma beach being the highlight, especially with the direct access from the resort. The resort is generally decent, but our initial impression was marred by a messy pool and beach area with towels scattered everywhere, which detracted from the welcoming atmosphere. Although the staff worked to keep things clean, we just caught it at a bad moment. As the days passed, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, relaxing by the beach, and the evening entertainment, though the magic show was underwhelming. The daytime performances, like the Brazilian dancers, were enjoyable. The food was good but nothing extraordinary; we've stayed at other resorts where the dining experiences were more memorable. If you’re looking to relax on a stunning beach, this resort is a great option. However, if you’re seeking an upscale experience with exceptional dining and drinks, you might want to consider other boutique options. We were also disappointed by the high wine prices, with basic bottles costing far more than usual. On the bright side, splurging on a Cabaña bed by the beach was worth it—the service was fantastic, and it provided a private area on one of the most beautiful beaches. Overall, I’d rate the resort an 8 out of 10.

I love it here ! The place was so pretty and the staff was super nice and attentive! The only thing I didn’t like was the food options didn’t really have Mexican food. They didn’t have spicy food. Which I did expect because it’s Mexico. I understand they might now get a lot of people who like spicy food but it should be an option! Otherwise everything was great.

My daughter, sister and I traveled for my daughter’s 21st birthday. I am trying to find words to properly describe and make justice to this resort. The grounds and suites are stunning, perfectly taken care of. The beach is indescribably beautiful, out of a movie scene. The restaurant options and the food they offer is 5 star quality. Entertainment is also top notch. What really stands out is the staff…. Oh wow! We are still in awe of the treatment we received. We were literally treated like queens. Just to name a few that made a huge impact in our stay, Daniela our pool attendant, amazing, sweetest girl ever. Leo and Mary from entertainment, they went above and beyond to make sure we were having an incredible experience. Estrella, she is the best hostess I’ve ever met in my life. Alejandro, our everyday waiter at breakfast, wait, I’m getting emotional lol, he was the best part of our breakfast routine AND the breakfast was delicious! Thank you everyone at Secrets Maroma. It was one of those vacations we will never forget and talk about for the rest of our lives. Can’t wait to go back. Con amor, Patricia, Maria y Valeria. PS.
