The Riu palace maya resort was exceptional. I would highly recommend it. From the shows which were amazing to food options (Buffett to specialty restaurants) specialty coffee shop, bars and a lounge room, gym, spa, and so much more. The staff were gracious, professional and went out of their way to make my stay the best one I’ve ever experienced.

I loved everything about it I was there for 5 nights from 9/10-9/15 my boyfriend and I my birthday was 9/14 and the hotel staff were very attentive and acknowledged my birthday in my Resturant’s of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner sang me happy birthday and made me cakes and deserts saying happy birthday in Spanish my boyfriend even proposed to me that day it was the best time of my life I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had the best time at Riu Palace Riviera Maya. The hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of the beach, with a wide white sand stretch. It's quiet and relaxed. They have plenty of chairs, shade provided by trees, and staff takes drink orders from the sand. Perfection. The grounds are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The rooms are super comfortable and housekeeping services ensure the rooms stays clean and organized at all times. The all-inclusive system provides a bountiful suppy of food and drinks. There are food stations and bars spread across the property, all providing quality foods and drinks. Breakfast is huge, cafeteria has many options, and the night restaurants serve tasty food. It's not super fancy but all is tasty. The highlight is the coffee bar with the best desserts available. The hotel also has a packed agenda of activities, exercise classes, dance classes, sports. And at night there are live bands, and high-quality entretainers (shoutout to the Michael Jackson act which was simply amazing!). You can also go to the other nearby Riu properties that have other activities. RIU Tequila has a nightclub and a weekly huge and fun party. The staff is the friendliest and most helpful. They are always circulating and trying to anticipate guests' needs. All in my party felt this was a great value hotel! And I would definitely return. Great job Riu team! You provide a memorable experience!!

Excellent property staff and beach! Enjoy the location very much. The only thing lacking was the gym was a little bit in need of repair and better equipment
