Beautiful beach and great service . Terrible condition of the pool , my kids got their toes cut several times because the pool needs to replace their tiles since they are all broken ! The Buffett ceiling is leaking on you , on the food , everywhere and has mold !

We booked this resort to have our daughters experience the grandeur after we had a beautiful experience at the related Secrets (adults only) resort nearby. This did not live up to the expectations. So we selected the higher level preferred club for the upgraded experience. The rooms (we had two rooms) were lacking maintenance with rusty fixtures, stained bed frames and walls, and non- flushing toilets. We used our ice buckets to fill the tanks so we could flush even after they “fixed” both. The promised daily cleaning did not occur until we requested it and asked for towels. They were left in the room on a chair with the beds unmade, no towels removed and the minibar left without being replenished. All that we had expected from our previous experience was definitely lacking. The service was extremely slow and lacking simple things such as a request for ketchup or salt taking 20 minutes after receiving your food. To make matters worse two in our party ended up with food poisoning. One from dinner the first night, basically washing out the rest of the trip. The second on the final night, making the last day and travel home incredibly unpleasant. I can say that they definitely work to have several activities and some of the staff are very helpful and sweet. The beach was beautiful and the water refreshing. The pools were chilly but I imagine refreshing in Aug. I hope that they can provide better experiences for others unfortunately we will not be returning.

Staff is great, grounds are great, room was disappointing bed is stiff pillows are hard and to thick, toilet wouldn’t flush, shower tub clog, it rained one of the nights and water was dripping from the ceiling in the buffet area.

Very nice property, nice pools and good restaurants. Restaurants are open almost all day long, and the food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of activities, so we were never bored. No hidden fees, it’s really all inclusive, water, drink, snacks… the most beautiful thing about this place is the beach. It’s very clean white sand beach and the ocean is calm. This was my fourth vacation in Cancun, and it is the best experience.

This is my second time staying at this location, and I absolutely love the beach and the view. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that I feel the quality of the food has declined over the years (14 years). The first time I stayed at a Dreams Resort, the food had better authenticity and offered more traditional Mexican options, rather than feeling as commercialized as it does now. However, one improvement over the years is that the sales department has significantly toned down their approach. They no longer pressure guests into the “90-minute” (often 4-6 hours) presentations for vacation memberships. Overall, our experience was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and embraced the beach life every moment we were there.

A large ethnic group was allowed to take over restaurants and the beach area for their meetings (microphone and amplifier) basically ruining the vacation for the rest of us. They moved our personal property three times and threw it on the ground.
