We arrived after having to get our own transportation, which we had pre-arranged and the hotel lost. When they let me know what room I had, they mentioned there was no window(!) So of course I was charged extra to get a room with a window. Then there was the part about my booking about my reservation not being all-inclusive. Which most of the staff made me uncomfortable about. The hotel is one of the originals, so it's a bit out dated. All in all this was an average stay if not for the beautiful ocean that made up for it. I would not recommend this hotel. And I feel they should let travelers know about rooms without a window. That might be important to someone.

Because I booked on Expedia and got a great rate, the hotel didn't give me the all inclusive (only breakfast) despite me asking for it. The hotel wanted me to pay an extra 75 dollars a night. They stuck me in between the basement and the pool with loud music and construction blaring through the room from 10am until about 1130 pm. Because I had a yellow wristband and not blue, they wanted to charge 5 dollars for a coke and 7$ for a hot dog. So I just walked across the street and grabbed a hot dog and a two liter for 3 dollars at the circle K. Breakfast was generally leftovers from the restaurants from the night before, and they did have fresh eggs. That being said, it was a pretty lackluster hotel. If I was a drinker, I probably would have paid the extra 75, but I could easily find great food outside the hotel for less. Cancun is beautiful and safe. There is no ice machine, you must get a cup at a time at the bar. Room was musty, but the maid was very nice and accommodating (unlike the rude staff at the concierge). In June I stayed at the Canopy by Hilton. Much better deal and accommodating. If you pay the extra money that they want, perhaps you get treated better, but I certainly know that I'm not alone. I wish I could post the pictures of what I'm talking about. I have pictures of the gap in the upper and lower part of my door (contributing to the noise) as well as the bugs all over the room. Hard pass.

When we went to check in they did not give the room i shown expedia. They said the rooms were limited and wanted to charge me an upgrade for the room shown on Expedia. Then tried to sell me on the all exclusive when breakfast was part of it. I dont recommend this place. You will not get the room you see on expedia. Thankfully i was only there for 2 days.

Great hotel
I had a great experience staying in this hotel. From the sunrise, the staff started cleaning the beach, sanitizing the chairs and cleaning the pool. Also, the breakfast was great with a lot of choices. The restaurant food was also great. The staff were nice and kind (could be better, I will give them a 4star). Just a heads up, If you forget tipping they will not be kind😁.

The hotel was average. The initial check in guy was terrible sent us to a room with no air conditioning and hot water took at least 30 minutes of running before it got hot. A second check in person doing what we saw her the next morning help us with a great functioning room

Our stay was very nice! Only thing is that AC cannot be adjusted (and it was very cold in the room!) however, that would be great for summer stays. They did not provide slippers (much needed with the cold floor) and they also did not have conditioner not even when requested. Parking was free and felt safe. The room with beach view was amazing!

It was a beautiful property but the pool is so small and I could not enjoy as they were always throwing volleyballs around. Breakfast isn’t til 7 which meant I went without on flight day! Zero sympathy for someone who just had surgery…would not expedite my check in by even a second. Would not let me take breakfast to my room. Lady at check in had an attitude

The views of the beach and ocean are gorgeous! We were very happy with the service/staff and the amenities at the facility. The music at night was fairly loud, especially for rooms near the pool. It would usually quiet down around 9:30-10pm. There was also some construction going on over a few days in the lobby that removed bar/pool table, but otherwise the overall experience was great!!

Overall, our stay was quite pleasant. The hotel is located near the La Isla mall so it's a quick walk to many restaurants and activities. However, the beds are quite small. We got a queen bed which really turned out to be a double. There are no elevators as far as I saw. The beach area does need some upkeeping but overall it's kept clean. Reception staff depending on who you get can be rude. Breakfast had very little vegan or vegetarian options. It's just beans and plantains fried everyday. Nothing major. Live music every night and it is very loud. AC in room works but not sure you can really adjust the temperature. We did not get all inclusive. It's 3000 pesos per day if get it separately. We did not. Any additional stay will cost 400 USD per night. Literally no consideration given if you want to extend you stay. Convenience shop is excellently stocked but prices are quite high. However, the hotel staff (except for few receptionist) was very friendly. They truly deserve merit.

Overall, amazing staff and location. Very easy to book transportation and it’s a very nice area near a mall. We only had one issue with the hotel since two staff members assured us a free dinner in their downstairs restaurant only for them to tell us last minute that it was not “valid”. This hotel definitely needs to have better communication because this definitely seemed intentional to in a way trap us to eat there. Our server Hugo was extremely kind and made this entire situation so much better. So please be aware of this before booking
