We had a wonderful family vacation from start to finish. The staff really make the experience- they are welcoming, fun and accommodating. We brought 4 young adults with us and we felt very safe letting them explore the property. Lots of dining options- you just have to plan ahead for dinners by making a reservation.

After three days we both came down diarrhea and throwing up. We were sick!! All meals and drinks were included. We had no car to get way. So we stopped eating or drinking, except for bottled water. We felt terrible. It was probably the hotel kitchen. So, we went to the beach. Could climb down the 20 steps to the beach, but could not climb up from the beach. So we went to pool. It was full of drunks. So much for Mormons. All the chairs near the pool or beach were taken by people who would get up early and put towel out to hold their chair for all day and night. On our last days there was a line of 20 people to check our. We still felt pretty sich. I said still felt pretty bag and did not feel to standing. I a long line…so the front desk called security… a bit brute of a guy who just said: get in line. We spend a small fortune at a terrible place. I have been to Cancun a half dozen times and it was the worst.

We really enjoyed our visit. Beautiful, clean beach although the sea was a bit rough when we visited. Clean rooms, lobby's, and grounds. Great food, excellent staff. There were two things I did not like. The first one was the dinner menu change at Hana. We really enjoyed our meat cuts the first night we dined there and planned to go in for a second night only to learn that the menu had changed. The second thing I disliked was the double burger I ordered at Mo's. For some reason, the two patties in my burger were thin and pale, not tasty at all. I did give Mo's a second chance and got a cheese burger which was very good. As I'm writing this, I'm now wondering if they gave me the Mighty No (vegan) instead of the Mighty Mo. If you're looking for a great, smaller, quiet all inclusive resort this is it.

Not Impressed with Marriott Cancun While our stay at Marriott Cancun had a few positives, overall, it fell short of our expectations. Pros: • The hotel’s smaller size makes it convenient to access the beach and pools. • Our ocean-view room was a highlight — spacious and comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child. Cons: • Noisy Rooms: The design resembles Embassy Suites, where room entrances face an open atrium. As a result, noise carries into the rooms late into the night, making it hard to relax. • Disappointing Food: The food was below average, with limited restaurant options and a repetitive menu. Even during Christmas, the special menu failed to impress. • Lack of Entertainment Options: The hotel offered very few entertainment activities, making the overall experience dull, especially for families or those looking for engaging experiences. • Towel Bar Issues: The towel service at the pool was the worst part of our stay. They were almost always out of towels, which was frustrating and inconvenient. This hotel has potential, but it needs better management to improve the guest experience.
