I had stayed here 2 previous times 5 years ago and it was astonishing ( we stayed for a month). You can tell that some maintenance in rooms haven’t been done since then ( bathroom shower sliding door missing, shower head on second bathroom spraying water everywhere except down to you… Music way, way too loud. I guess by leaving maintenance behind and having music this loud they are really focusing in a different type of clientele ( reggaeton like kind of people if tou know what I mean ) The beach is still fantastic but…

I want my money back. It's a disaster the nasty smell in bathroom pipe is old and the ridiculous price is the only good thing is the view, I want at least half of the money back. I have videos to share with Expedia to back up my claim. I will report this to BBB against Expedia for advertising that hotel, that's not fair and I was charged 27 US dollars for a beach cleaning tax at properties I asked around I was the only one.

We arrived a couple hours early it was raining we were all wet and still couldn't check in until after 3 despite it being practically empty. We got a room with a supposed jetted tub that didn't work very basic room felt like we over paid for what we got. Obviously if this hotel weren't in this great area we wouldn't stay. Beach club staff were excellent

La habitación estaba en muy malas condiciones, me les quebrados, baño sucio, parches de silicon por todos lados, el aire tuvo una fuga en un tiempo y el suelo estaba todo manchado así como la pared en malas condiciones por la humedad. En recepción alguien escurrió sangre y al día siguiente por la mañana aún estaban las gotas de sangre. El hotel te hace firmar un reglamento donde te indica que NO hará cambio de habitación si cuentas con cualquier situación y que solo pueden menciónale a mantenimiento o al ama de llaves. El servicio de los jóvenes del restaurante fue muy bueno pero fuera de ahí, recepción tuvo sus errores, me querían cobrar una persona extra siendo que reservé para dos. La vista esta fenomenal, eso no hay queja, y está cerca de todos los antros.

Had a nice stay overall! Rooms need a little bit of work done to them as it seems they have not been renovated for a while. If this is not a problem for you then great, it was not a problem for me either. The only one thing I will say is that my first morning there I could smell a gross stench coming from what I think was the shower or sink drain but that went away.

Prime location, pricey drinks
The location can't be beat. You're right on the beach and near a bus stop. We enjoyed the beach area and the pool but found the drinks at the pool bar to be a little overpriced. It was unfortunate that they don't allow outside drinks as we ended up spending less time on the property just to avoid the drink prices.

Ocean Dream is located next to the main hotelera attractions. The property is maintained very well. Some of the rooms need repairs but it does not take away from the beauty and location.

I don’t know why ppl give this property a bad rating. We enjoyed it. It was very clean the ppl was nice. It is not all inclusive but there is restaurants, convenience stores close by. The only thing is, if you use their umbrellas you have to order food and drinks from them. You can’t take your own:

The hotel met our expectations, we were expecting a three star hotel, but it was more like a five star. The good thing is, the access to the rooms is not through the lobby so it feels more private. Although the swimming pool was a bit dirty. Definitely value for money.

Ocean Dreams is a fantastic location. Proximity to groceries, restaurants, nightlife and beaches is perfect. We loved the pools, easy beach access and easy-going staff. Our kitchenette room made for easy homemade breakfasts. Really, we loved our stay at Ocean Dreams.

I recently stayed at Ocean Dream and had a wonderful experience in terms of convenience and service. The hotel's location was perfect, with everything I needed within walking distance. The staff were truly amazing - friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. However, I did feel that the property itself could benefit from some updates. The rooms and common areas felt a bit dated, and some modern touches would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience. Overall, I would still highly recommend ocean dream for its fantastic location and exceptional staff. With a bit of renovation, it could truly be a top-notch hotel."

Great but needs work
Pros, location is great near all the night live if that's your thing, but also direct beach access. Our room was ground level with direct access to one of the pools and the beach was less than a minute walk away. Cons are that restaurants in the property lack variety and prices are way to high. Property is not new and in some aspects it shows it age, at least everything worked las expected. Personnel is very attentive. By the way someone stole my kid's crocks in the pool. So there's that
