Had a nice stay overall! Rooms need a little bit of work done to them as it seems they have not been renovated for a while. If this is not a problem for you then great, it was not a problem for me either. The only one thing I will say is that my first morning there I could smell a gross stench coming from what I think was the shower or sink drain but that went away.

The location can't be beat. You're right on the beach and near a bus stop. We enjoyed the beach area and the pool but found the drinks at the pool bar to be a little overpriced. It was unfortunate that they don't allow outside drinks as we ended up spending less time on the property just to avoid the drink prices.

Ocean Dream is located next to the main hotelera attractions. The property is maintained very well. Some of the rooms need repairs but it does not take away from the beauty and location.

I don’t know why ppl give this property a bad rating. We enjoyed it. It was very clean the ppl was nice. It is not all inclusive but there is restaurants, convenience stores close by. The only thing is, if you use their umbrellas you have to order food and drinks from them. You can’t take your own:

The hotel met our expectations, we were expecting a three star hotel, but it was more like a five star. The good thing is, the access to the rooms is not through the lobby so it feels more private. Although the swimming pool was a bit dirty. Definitely value for money.

Ocean Dreams is a fantastic location. Proximity to groceries, restaurants, nightlife and beaches is perfect. We loved the pools, easy beach access and easy-going staff. Our kitchenette room made for easy homemade breakfasts. Really, we loved our stay at Ocean Dreams.

I recently stayed at Ocean Dream and had a wonderful experience in terms of convenience and service. The hotel's location was perfect, with everything I needed within walking distance. The staff were truly amazing - friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. However, I did feel that the property itself could benefit from some updates. The rooms and common areas felt a bit dated, and some modern touches would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience. Overall, I would still highly recommend ocean dream for its fantastic location and exceptional staff. With a bit of renovation, it could truly be a top-notch hotel."

Great but needs work
Pros, location is great near all the night live if that's your thing, but also direct beach access. Our room was ground level with direct access to one of the pools and the beach was less than a minute walk away. Cons are that restaurants in the property lack variety and prices are way to high. Property is not new and in some aspects it shows it age, at least everything worked las expected. Personnel is very attentive. By the way someone stole my kid's crocks in the pool. So there's that

The location is front beach which is breathtaking. The service the workers provide is the best I’ve experienced. The condition of the hotel is not the best but it is priced reasonable for how it looks. My restroom shower head did not work properly (didn’t hurt me but water did splash out the slider doors), the safe to put valuables did not work and the TV had to constantly be checked for it to work. They have some great amenities on property available like a restaurant, surfing rentals and classes, and on site excursions staff to help with your stay in Cancun. Overall I would stay here again but I would check other options. Again the staff is excellent.

One of the rooms the AC Was not working, the technician was there trying to fix the issue i was not aware of the room have a safe i left momey by the bed and in the next morning i totality forgot the money and when i call the front office they mention it was never there, no integrity, pay over $300 usd for a night that one room never have AC and of course the lost of my momey. I just hope who ever got it realy need it.. please be aware of this place and the staff i would never stay here again...

The property looks nice at first, then. At my penthouse only one. Room had AC, we had the technician till 8pm. I put some money by my bed not knowing it was a safe in the room. With all the distraction i end up leaving the money behind and of course when i contect the front desk they never found my envelope with my money, i hope that money ends up with some one that really needs it, but for the price i pay for the room and with all the distractions makimg me leave the money, i would never stay here again...
