I travel frequently and this resort is a gem! Right from the initial contact with our butler Ricardo we began to enjoy ourselves. He made things very easy and catered to our every need. The food experience was great, many options. The beach was phenomenal! It was so sandy and well kept and the water was a beautiful blue! The parrties at the rooftop pool were more than we expected, and the nitely activities were very fun! The maids were very attentive to keeping the suite spotless. We"ve already discussed going back in May for my birthday and I haven't even unpacked from this trip! 🙃

RoyaltonFit staff are a bunch of awesome young folks. Adan, Shannon, Esteban and the other lady instructor for the yoga class keep our morning busy. The vibe team does a good job keep us entertaining.

The property is beautiful & the service was great. The food was good. Way better than typical resort food. The Italian restaurant had the best pasta. Drinks were plentiful & tasty. I didn't do The Diamond Club but dont feel that I missed out on anything. The staff made me feel extra special for my birthday which I really appreciated. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe & secure at the resort. All in all, I had a wonderful vacation.

This is the cleanest resort I have ever been to. The food is soooo delicious, the worker are very nice and helpful. We will be coming back again I highly recommend this resort.

This property was reasonably priced and that was reflected in our experience. The staff was tremendous, and the food was fine for a resort. We found the variety of restaurants more than adequate. The beach was by far our favorite part of this trip. Note: There was a strange smell coming from the shower. Same in our family members' room. I don't know if it came from the drains or was due to the toxic chemical they used to clean the showers. This smell permeated the room and out into the hallways. While there, I did a little Google searching and found others who said the same. Our issue was with the atmosphere. This can best be described as a "college spring break" resort for those that age and older that like foam pool parties, very loud music poolside, scantily clad women hired by the resort to stand on pedestals around the pool (or to have their bodies painted), lots of drinking, female resort guests competing to be "queen of the pool" (you can imagine), and a very loud "vibe team" desperately trying to hype up the crowd on the microphones. There was a younger and rowdier crowd who very much enjoyed this. It's just not our speed. We were looking to relax. The other issue was that we were NOT on the ocean side, which meant we overlooked the "theater." Almost every night there was loud music until almost midnight, or later. This made it impossible to read or go to sleep in our room. If you are looking for a "rocking good time," this resort is for you!

After spending about $5,000.00 in the booking/hotel/flight/transportation, for an ALL INCLUSIVE, the property felt short. I had to spend an additional $800.00 just to have dinner and be able to seat in the pool area. There was a very limited alcohol selection and if we wanted a particular brand it started at $150.00 a bottle, again, not all inclusive and an all inclusive should not push for bottle service. The food in the restaurant wasn't the best, lacked flavored and variety. The staff at the front desk needs to be re-trained on CS, as when we checked in it seems that I was being done a favor and not felt as a welcomed guest, specially when I mentioned we were celebrating a special occasion. The room did not have the Happy Birthday banner for my wife until several hours later, which made my wife feel as this was just another trip and not a special occasion. I'm a member of this particular property groups and will defiantly rethink my membership with Marriott and the Autograph collection. We are very disappointed with the Management/Captain around the shows area who stated that in order to seat and enjoy the shows we needed to requested/purchase additional bottle service, especially after having spend $250.00 for dinner that same night and still had a bottle on hand! Share this with USA corporate offices so they may look into their all inclusive policies and either make it truly ALL INCLUVE or just another Hotel in Cancun that will try to squeeze money out of you.

I liked the proximity to the ocean. Excellent sandy beach. Beautiful turquoise ocean water. Ocean front room and large private balcony. I didn’t like paying for Diamond Club and not having access to premium alcohol at all bars. Drinks must have been watered down. Butlers not that great. Munchies pool side buffet was lacking. Same chicken and ham every day:(

We added a day to our stay to avoid a snowstorm at home. The staff was very accommodating to our needs! The extra day allowed us to spend more time enjoying the food, drink, entertainment, and attentive staff! The Vibe Team was spectacular--Luigi and Denis, the service staff was top-notch--Darwin, the fitness team was the best, Aidan and Sharon, and the pool concierge, Alejandro was second to none.
