We stayed during a week that wasn’t super warm or sunny. We enjoyed the adult hot tub/swim up bar down on the beach and the swings in front of it. There is also another hot tub near the pool that is 16 and over. Our adult kids enjoyed this a lot and spent much of their time there. The entertainment staff, Luis and Whiskey, were fun! Our favorite pool side staff were Elvia and Juilo! There are lots of steps on this property but also ramps to the sides of them. The lunch options were good. There are 3 options near the pools. There is also one closer to the beach that we found good as well. In the evening, reservations are required everywhere except the buffet. The Italian restaurant was our favorite. The buffet, however, was not very good at all. The “hot” food was kept at a temperature of barely warm. Some food seemed old and stale. The frozen and mixed drinks were just ok, seemed to be mixed pretty weak and cheap booze. You can pay for better booze but we basically stuck to beers instead. Overall, we had a good time at this resort! It was family and budget friendly!

We booked through Expedia for the golden parnesius resort and it was the most disgusting resort I've ever been to. So we left and rebooked for the Wyndham Grand Cancun and this place is outstanding. Expedia still has not given me my relocation difference per their policy I had to pay $1,300 more for the new location because it was last minute booking.

This was our first time taking the kids to Mexico, and they had a fantastic time! The resort was great, with so much to offer for both adults and children. We especially loved the lunch options. The taco stand and sushi bar were our favorites, and the Pinacolada restaurant offered a nice variety on its menu. The fish tacos were delicious, and the poolside area had plenty of casual options like wings, burgers, and hot dogs—all of which were excellent. One downside was having to make dinner reservations at night. The Pinacolada restaurant, which becomes "Mexican" at night, didn’t feel authentically Mexican, and the dinner service there was disappointing. However, lunch at Pinacolada was the opposite—fantastic food and service! Another downside was the number of steps and levels throughout the resort. While it could be a bit inconvenient, it did help spread out the crowds, which was a plus. Our group booked scuba diving at the resort with Juan Carlos and Maria, and it was an amazing experience—they were excellent instructors! We also went zip-lining with Sylvatica, which was phenomenal. These activities added so much fun and excitement to our trip. Poolside, Elvia and Julio stood out—they were so friendly and made our stay extra enjoyable for the whole family. We also appreciated that the hot tubs were actually hot here, unlike at most other resorts.

My family and I just got back from a week long stay at Wyndham Grand Cancun for a New Years trip! We had a wonderful time! We got 2 connecting rooms and we were very pleased with the accommodations! -Rooms were very updated and spacious and the beds were comfy! -Food was good overall. We ate mostly at Pina restaurant and the La Paloma buffet after trying each of the sit down restaurants for dinners. (We didn't love the options at any of the restaurants which required reservations for dinner) The servers were all excellent! -Entertainment staff was what made our trip special! LUIS and WHISKEY had us moving all day long! They were so nice and had us playing beach volleyball, ping pong, basketball, etc. My kids loved these guys so much!! We hope to come back to Wyndham Grand Cancun again!!

If you a member this hotel might be great, but other than that it is horrible. Malibu and Captain Morgan is considered premium liquor!!! This was our second stay at the Wyndham Grand and for the second time we had a great time!! The staff is so nice, special mention to Victoria from the kids club, she was FANTASTIC. Our eight year old son wanted to stay at the kids club all day!! She is great, had activities planned for every day and we felt so safe leaving our boy with her! We are definitely planning to go back :)

Its a decent place. Not bad, neither great. Restaurant reservation is bit tricky if you do tours, concierge is is not available too early or late. Rooms on the lagoon side are not so great, ocean side is probably better. Some room next to restaurants have constant cooking smell. Food is great at restaurants with reservation but not so at the buffet.

From the moment we arrived at the property, the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was an ocean view overlooking the main pool so we could hear the activities in the mornings but considering the views, it was worth it. The only complaint is the heavy doors. It sounds like they’re slamming every time they close, otherwise it was fairly quiet. We didn’t make reservations at the Italian restaurant which was one regret but the rest of the food we had was great. Special shoutout to Esteban at Kuka’s. He was absolutely the best; friendly, attentive and just felt like family. There was one person who was very unfriendly working concierge when we asked if there was a doctor on the resort. As a concierge, I expected the same level of service if not better than the rest of the staff, but besides that encounter, everything else was great! The beach was easily accessible and clean with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Ulysses made sure we were taken care of while on the beach and was amazing! Carlos in the buffet was great.
