entire building is filthy. Most of the staff live here. tried to cancel my room aftrer finding out it was mold in the building. the manager cusses me out then calls the police on me. This is a boarding house not a hotel

The staff was amazing, no complaints about how accommodating everyone we spoke with was. Lots of old water damage from unknown storm. Hallway carpets looked extremely moldy from previous water, mold on the walls as well. Broken elevator, my disabled husband had to struggle up four flights of stairs. Outside area seemed unkept with weeds overgrowing in the flower beds. The building itself needs massive repairs.

Horrible Stay at La Quinta by Wyndham Jacksonville - Avoid at All Costs Rating: 1/5 I recently stayed at La Quinta by Wyndham in Jacksonville, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Issues: 1. Facility Condition: The entire hotel was in terrible shape. The room doors were dry-rotted, and the hotel had a pervasive smell of mildew and sourness that was unbearable. It was clear the hotel had significant water damage throughout the facility. 2. Rugs and Carpets: The rugs throughout the hotel appeared to have water damage, adding to the overall discomfort and unpleasantness of the stay. 3. Air Conditioning and Appliances: The air conditioning in the lobby area wasn’t functioning, and many of the appliances were down, further contributing to an already uncomfortable environment. 4. Security Concerns: There was an arrest in the middle of the night due to commotion at the facility. 5. Elevator and Stairway Conditions: While the elevators were functioning, the interiors were severely damaged, and the stairs were discolored and rotted, adding to the overall sense of neglect. 6. Impact on the Wyndham Brand: This facility desperately needs to be upgraded. It reflects poorly on the Wyndham brand, especially when neighboring hotels on the same street have all been updated and maintained to a much higher standard. Overall Experience: I was extremely disappointed, pictures Poorly reflect this hotel.

Unfortunately this location was not in the best of conditions. There was a smell throughout the entire property. The carpet was stained in the hallways, stairways and room. The wallpaper is peeling off of the walls. There was mold in our shower and quite a few bugs including German roaches in our room. Upon arrival the lady that greeted us was extremely sweet and gave us extra towels right away after recognizing that we have 4 people. Will not be staying here again based on the hotel conditions.

I Was Overcharged!!!!! Renovations Are Overdue.
This hotel has seen much better days. I was expecting so much more but got the bare minimum. Just to give a quick snap shop, when we arrived, I saw construction materials in the front. Entered the lobby to fans blowing, no a.c....I checked in with a very lovely front desk clerk. Got my keys and asked about the elevators, then finding out the one closest to my room was broken. I still had high hopes, so my son, my dog and I headed to the room immediately noticing the carpet in the hallway looked unclean and needed to be replaced. Got on the antique elevator and got off on a floor with bleach-stained carpets and peeling wallpaper. At this point I realized I had been overcharged. Got to the room which door needed to be repaired but managed to get inside to find a halfway decent room with a slight smell of urine. This was the suite. The living room a.c. blew room temp air and the bedroom a.c. worked fine. We just made the best of the situation, but overall, I was happy that my dog was comfortable, and the morning breakfast was consistently worth visiting.
