There is no staff!! The code I was sent to unlock my room didn’t open the room which was a problem because it’s an unstaffed front desk. We got lucky and ran into someone in the basement who opened our door with a master code on his way out the door. The room, however was a delight,

Very place in the middle of Old-Quebec
Great hotel. Staff very responsive whenever I had a question, even though there was nobody on site. Very quite room, despite busy street sometimes at night. Thanks to all staff!

Room was lovely and a great location. Had a problem with the heating and could never get the issue resolved. Room was way too hot which made it hard to sleep at night. Parking was difficult . There was no staffed customer service/ reception desk, which made it difficult if you needed anything or had a problem. Would liked to have a live person on site to deal with issues.

Nice, quaint property right in the heart of Old Quebec. Old building so some quirks, but very nice if you're looking for an old-world European feel. Only drawbacks: No in-room thermostat and it was extremely warm at night, and could hear the water running quite loudly from the room above. Otherwise, very nice.

The property was quite nice and well located. The electronic check -in and room access situation worked well, fortunately. Parking was not easy and we were very uncomfortable with the fact that there were no staff present in case we needed any type of assistance (which we did). Carrying our suitcases up three sets of tiny stairs was precarious. However the three cleaning staff we met for a momment were very sweet. A full time employee would improve the hotel immensely.

We liked the decor, the coffee, the robes, the warm shower, and close to many restaurants. We appreciated the immediate response to our requests for the room. We did not like the cool temperature in the room. We expected it would be a little warmer for comfort, especially in the mornings and evenings.

There is no service in this hotel. You are given a code for the front door, and another code for your room. You never see any staff, ever. There are extra towels if you need in the basement. During our 4 night stay we did get maid service once. Our room (room 20 on the 2nd floor) was extremely cold (in October), there was no way to adjust the heat - I did not see any thermostat. We attempted to contact someone by texting the provided numbers in the room but received no response. Not finding any blankets either we ended up using the provided robes as a contingency. Note that room 20 has a very high bed, we are 5ft 8in tall and had trouble hopping up into it. The property itself is lovely, beautifully furnished. Its easy to carry baggage up the 1 flight to the room. Location is excellent, within the old walled city.

A little Disappointed
Lovely hotel in the heart of Quebec with easy access to nearly everything. There was an easy checkin process although there is no official front desk. Our only problem was service. Our room was never made up upon request which means we ran out of towels, coffee and toilet paper on a three night stay. I rummaged around a closet in the hall to find some more coffee but for the rest we were simply out of luck. So nice quaint hotel with no frills.
