We love the Parlour, and have stayed there several times in the past. This time we were in room 306, which was less than ideal. The room is very small, and the a/c / heat unit blows directly onto the bed. The floors are so tilted that stuff rolled off the nightstand. We love the historic nature of the Parlour, the location, and the pub on the ground floor. But if I book here again I will be careful not to be on the 3rd floor.

The property is perfect for a Stratford vacation. It is 10 minutes from the train station, walkable, and right in the middle of Stratford's downtown/theatre area. The staff was amazingly helpful and attentive. The restaurant had excellent food and service. Overall, it was a 5-star experience. We will be going back next year. Thank you!

I booked this hotel as the website said it had a gym onsite. When I went use the gym I was told they no longer have one. I have knee issues and I must exercise twice per day. This was very disappointing and very misleading! Update your website description!

The location is perfect: central but quiet. Our room was VERY small, but had everything needed. Our 'suite' was in the original, old part of the building, and so the floor was uneven and sloped, so that table lamps looked crooked! Our main issue: the queen sized bed was very uncomfortable: soft, lumpy and sagged into the middle; definitely not "hotel quality" = we didn't sleep well.... Dining room staff member was friendly and efficient, breakfast was good! We especially appreciated the shuttle service between hotel and theatre.

Decent hotel, easy access to restaurants. A bit noisy at night with the window open. Shower in the bathroom wasn't as nice and pedestal sink was a bit small (no spot to put toiletries).

The room was not as clean as it should be. Every drawer squeaked when opened or closed. The bathroom door did not close properly. Housekeeping refreshed our towels every day but did not take away the used ones on 2 occasions. We had to ask for refills of the hair conditioner and body wash. We were left sitting in the restaurant for 15 minutes with water while the (one) waiter took orders from 4 other tables and refilled their coffee at least 3 times. We finally left and found another restaurant. My husband and I have stayed at the Parlour Inn every year for the last 4 years and our stays there have always been very good but the building is decaying and in need of upgrading as are the rooms.

The in house restaurant was very good, but expensive for 2 salads. The room was nice and spacious, but the furniture was very old & tired and the room had a very musty smell. The bathroom was very nice. The bed was comfortable enough. But for the price paid for the room, one would expect more comfort.

Started great - ended just so-so.
I wish I could give the hotel a better rating. I think it’s important for old quaint hotels to survive and thrive.The room was fine and the front desk staff was great on the way in. They went out of their way to welcome us since it was our anniversary. The restaurant was ok - nice server and good food. In the morning however we had several interactions with the front desk that were unacceptable for a hotel that charges what it does. Both were housekeeping issues and went unresolved and seemed to be a result of lack of effort- the opposite of what a small hotel should be like!! I hope for future customers the morning staff is better.

I quite liked it and would be happy to stay there again. Minor quibbles - the A/C blew a cold breeze when it was on but the room warmed up fast when it was off. I couldn't find the right balance. The restaurant/bar's closing time of 8:00 p.m. is a bit early for me.
