Always choose Canterra!

I have stayed at Canterra Inn & Suites many times over the past 5 years. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. The rooms are clean, spacious, with all the bathroom amenities you require and all the kitchen utensils/wares/small appliances needed to prepare a meal in your room. There are many restaurants close by but there is also a Save On Foods next door and they have prepared food and anything you require to make your own meals. If you require covered parking, they do have it but there is a cost & it is tough to get in and out, some spots because of pillars. Otherwise parking is on one side of the Save on Foods parking lot. I have never had an issue with anyone bothering when I have parked here.

This hotel was set up for long term stays near downtown Edmonton. The unit was well equipped. It was nice to have 2 bedrooms, living room and little kitchen. Building is older, elevators are old and no access to walk up the stairs, only down. We understand this has to do with safety given proximity to downtown. Friendly staff.

Overall the stay was great. There is no ice machine on property and the front desk didn't even know what ice was. That was weird! Great value to stay downtown Edmonton with a large family.

Very awkward trying to check in, no parking in front of the hotel. You have to pay extra for underground spots or park half a block away at a grocery store lot. Our room temperature was 26C (Dec)when we arrived, turned it down to 19C, was still 24C two hours later. Their was raised 6'x10' "stage" in the living room. Very strange layout.

I did a trip with my mom and 2 dogs and this was the perfect stay for us. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was well laid out, comfy beds, and a kitchen with just the needed utensils. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There was a park nearby for the dogs and a shopping plaza with a grocery store, food options, pet store and liquor store. Parking was easy too. Will definitely stay again!

The stay with my small pet worked very well. Spacious and well appointed amenities. Outdoor parking until indoor became available. Wifi wasn’t working and the hotel compensated me on checkout without any request. Helpful staff. Good location for my visit.
