I recently stayed at this resort while attending a wedding and was very disappointed. Upon check-in, I was asked for my card information and told I would be paying immediately, which was odd since I usually pay at the end of my stay, especially after booking through a third-party site. I complied and was informed my card was declined due to the resort attempting to charge $30,000 instead of $600. The staff was apathetic and unable to clarify this issue, resulting in American Express limiting my spending.
After finally checking in with another card, I found the hot water wasn’t working and the bed linens were dirty. Attempts to reach the front desk went unanswered, so I had to message staff via WhatsApp, which led to Expedia helping get someone to change the linens. The staff arrived with an attitude despite the clear issue.
The next day, my breakfast order was incomplete and incorrect. If my stay had been longer, I would have left for another resort. While the view is beautiful, the hospitality and service were severely lacking. I cannot recommend this resort based on my experience.
