The condo features a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, fireplace, TV and dining room. Nice location, just needed to ask how to take the trail from the condo over. Once we figured it out, it was super easy. The condo itself was warm, clean, cozy. Fireplace nice. Nice heat, and not dry. Sheets and blankets were cozy.. felt very comfortable

The unit itself was great! Had everything we needed for the most part. We noticed that there was no shampoo in either bathroom and only body wash in one of the showers. Minor detail! There was an issue with the person in the unit below us who was smoking on his patio every single morning so we couldn’t sit on our patio without breathing in smoke. My husband politely mentioned that we are sensitive to the smoke and he replied by saying that he is sensitive to everywhere being non- smoking and then continued to smoke. I did t mention anything to the receptionist because we didn’t want to make a big deal of it but it was disappointing not being able to sit on our balcony. The location was great and we would consider this property again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The space was very clean and well maintained. We spent a lot of time at the pool and hot tub as we wanted a more relaxed time away and ended up meeting some really great people. We made dinner one of the nights but wished there were more basic supplies (salt & pepper and sugar that weren’t in packets, oil etc). It rained one of the nights so we stayed in and watched movies, I ended up laying on the comfy carpeted floor which seemed fairly new. Overall we had a great time!

Perfect stop to access the hill and yet not be in the crazy busy village. Easy walk anywhere. The unit was perfect for our family of 4. ( 21 & 22 yr olds ). Nice to have two washrooms. Hot Tub was well organized for COVID. Place was very clean and parking underground was easy to access. Thank you to the women at the front desk who came up on our first day to help get our TV on.

Outpost was anemic at best from the start. We had to request access to check-in when it’s normally automated 24 hrs in advance. Second BR smelled like mold…my 10 yo woke up at 3am and couldn’t sleep. The front desk response was congenial but completely inadequate. They opted to crank the heat which masked the damp stench. Food crumbs and dirt under couch. Sticky crusted handles in kitchen. We asked for cleaning at 8pm upon checking in. No cleaning service ever arrived! The next day, the Front desk offered to move us to a one BR unit which wasn’t suitable for our entire family so we were forced to book another 2BR unit at another rental property. They are refusing to partially reimburse us for nights that they were able to re-rent, after promising to do so. We explained to the front desk staff that my father just passed away a few days before Christmas and we needed to just relax over the holiday but they still couldn’t meet the basic criteria of cleanliness particularly during a pandemic and for our family to feel secure.

My husband and I recently stayed at this property with our 2 young children( 2 years & 2 months old) we enjoyed our stay. Pros and cons from a family’s perspective below. Cons: -No air conditioning( we didn’t notice this in the ad). It was 32 degrees the day we arrived and extremely hot inside the apartment. There were two fans but they didn’t give much relief. -if you visit in the winter with young kids, keep in mind that it is heated by baseboard heaters that may get hot if you have littles who like to touch everything. -there weren’t any screens on the sliding doors or the windows so we couldn’t keep everything open to cool it off without having flies come in. Also meant if we had the doors open that our toddler had full access to the deck. (Just something to be aware of) -the wifi wasn’t strong enough to run Netflix off of the TV without ALOT of pausing to buffer. It’s too bad that it wasn’t a bit stronger because this would have been nice to be able to use. -the door codes for the building were changed the day we arrived and we were not advised of this. Luckily another resident told us what it was as the reception was closed by the time we arrived! Pros: -great location. It was quieter as you’re not right in the village. And a quick 5-7 min walk to the upper village for food/shopping! -the pool and hot tub were great for the kids. Most nights we were the only ones in it! -it was nice having underground parking included! *you would be able to fit a playpen for a young child in the master bedroom, but definitely not in the room with the bunk beds. The rooms are fairly small, not many places to put a suitcase.*

Perfect location with plenty of parking. It's an easy 200m walk or ski to new Blackcomb gondi via the path across the street. The unit itself is wonderful. Beds are super comfy and two full bathrooms make it a great choice for a family or group of friends.
