I loved Cancun but will never either come to this hotel or will recommend to family and friends. Flamingo hotel is really really bad.. just got back 03/21. Don’t don’t book a stay at Flamingo. Pay a little more will have a better experience..

My stay for 21 days, first 10 days, maid cleaned twice. Booofett food mediocre. Unruly, crying infants and toddlers was maddening. The hotel lovely, my room facing Ocean lovely. Check out gal quoted $30 their taxi to Airport, he scammed me for $40 a long with breaking the handle ony luggage making it no longer pullable. It weighed 35 lbs., a third of my weight, and I'm 80 years old. Luggage damaged beyond repair. Kindly mention suitcases are to be removed by straps and not pull handle. I won't consider Flamingo again! Respectfully submitted, Miss Branch

I did like food and super gentle services. The waitress were very nice and very well organized. The chef cook made efforts to satisfied the people who were there. The food was very good. We stayed seven nights in December 2024. Property is in a nice and quiet area, people are cooperative and helpful. Hotel is clean with clean beach. Room was cleaned almost every day. On the first night we were in a room with huge noise from an adjacent machine. We complained and was moved to a quieter area. It is surprising why management did not solve this problem because it affects several rooms also.

The staff was generally friendly although many of them did not speak English so communicating was a little difficult but we got by, not a huge problem. The maintenance on the property seriously needs to be stepped up. In our bathroom we had black mould-like splatter on the ceiling. Shower curtain rod was all calcified on one end. No outlets on the wall where the beds were. Extension cord provided was very unsafe having been electrical taped together with no ground wire. Wet clothes hanging wire had no anchor on opposite side and would not extend all the way anyways. Provided towel rack was loose on the wall. Hot water did not work the first night. Nothing critical (except the hot water, that’s janky) but definitely shows a lack of care or possibly budget for maintaining the property. Food was decent, the star of the show being the pizza. Rented a cabana one day and the service was fantastic and the food selection was good. Definitely could have used more chairs around the pool areas. Overall, not terrible but not great.

Flamingo Resort has friendly staff to assist you with anything you need. Great hospitality! If you enjoy real Mexican cuisine, you are in good place. The servers are there to help you with anything you need. I have enjoy the Flamingo Resort and highly recommend.

I have seen mixed reviews and I was surprised by this resort. Amazing beach and access, AC was cool in the room, everything worked, wifi wasn’t bad for Cancun and the food was good enough to have seconds. It’s not a 5star in Tulum but def not a bad place to spend a few days in Cancun

We stayed here for 2 weeks. I honestly came with low expectations, but I would return to stay again! Property is older but clean and does look good. WiFi was not great in our rooms. We had to go to the common areas for it to work best. But I was fine with the chance to disconnect. We had booked regular rooms and were upgraded to ocean facing rooms. That was a huge bonus to us! The food was simple and maybe not as huge a selection as other places, but we still managed to eat too much! My son is Celiac and the chef and waiters went out of their way each meal to either cook him special food or show us what he could eat. He did not get sick once. We were very thankful for the attention they paid to his care. The beach is amazing and the proximity to other entertainment on the hotel zone was good. This resort suited our needs perfectly for the reasons we needed. I would definitely return!

It was a beautiful view from our swim up suite. The staff were all amazing and very accomodating. Just wish the resort had more options for room service food and food to your room. The wifi was very bad in our room which was also disappointing. Otherwise had quite an amazing week!

The property is a good location, some of the staff is rude . I went to the buffet and the waiter never came to ask if we needed anything or serve drinks. They also did maintenance in one of the rooms which caused noise, you are there to relax to hear the drill or hitting the wall. The front office also called us to our room a day before asking if we were checking out already on Friday when we had to check out Saturday. I think they over booked rooms because , I heard a client coming back the next day requesting his room if it was ready, they were sent to a different hotel. I try to make reservations to a restaurant in the hotel according to them it was booked and I try to speak to a manager she said I'm the manager with an attitude, I asked for extra towels and the housekeeper made a face when I requested extra towels.
