My recent check-in experience at a resort in Cancun was a series of disappointments and upsetting interactions, particularly with the front desk staff. I arrived with another group of friends, and we had requested to be placed in rooms close to each other. However, they placed our group in separate locations—our friends on the 3rd floor and us on the 2nd floor. To make matters worse, the room originally assigned to us had a strong, unbearable odor of paint that caused us physical discomfort, including headaches. We had to practically beg the staff to move us to a different room, which they begrudgingly did, placing us next door to our friends after initially claiming that no accommodations could be made. Unfortunately, the rudeness and lack of hospitality from the staff set the tone for the remainder of our stay. Once we settled into the new room, there were still basic necessities missing, like washcloths. When we requested them, we were told to come to the front desk instead of having them delivered to the room. It rained heavily during our stay, and the hallways began to reek of sewer, adding to the unpleasant environment. The worst part, however, was the blatant disrespect and what felt like discriminatory behavior from the staff throughout our stay. As Black women, we often felt ignored or treated with less priority compared to other guests. It’s good for family all inclusive hotel, staffs are very friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The food was ok, but you can tell there are left over from last and recook for next day buffet. We had reservation seafood and Mexican restaurant. Plating and tasting is good, but food wasn’t fresh ingredients. Would considering come back if the food could improve. We had very noisy night, there is some heavy machine working from 8pm to 11pm very loud.

The property was overpriced, it is located next to a marine refueling point and there is a consistent smell of gasoline. The beach is small and crowded. The staff will lie consistently or ignore you. This “resort” is cheap do not recommend. We cancelled our stay and switched hotels.

This place was clean, staff were friendly and professional. However the food was terrible, hardly could be called edible. The restaurants on campus were also horrendous and we could only make 2 reservations which was not depicted on the website. I had not one, but two small pebbles in my refried beans, how does that happen? Literal rocks in my food. Fruit flies all over the fruit as well. At times our silverware was dirty too. The ice machines weren’t working, had to go several floors down to find one. Our room keys repeatedly quit working, one of our room doors didn’t lock, one of the room’s toilets wouldn’t flush, the beach was misrepresented, and of course the drinks were extremely watered down. I’m most disappointed in the food, so many options and somehow they were all pretty much disgusting. The cleaning staff were excellent, our rooms were very tidy every day. They also played loud music till midnight every night which made it hard to sleep. The room sliding doors to the balcony rattled whenever there was wind which made it noisy and hard to sleep as well.

It’s in a nice area.. but everything else were not worth the price paid.. 4 out 6 people from our party got food poisoning on different days at the hotel.. I got none working door and was promised an upgrade but never got it even though I was told to come back next morning.. and the next morning after and then next morning after. The door finally stopped working completely and took a long time to get it fix. Still no accommodations nor anything was mentioned nor offered.

When i got there the elevator wasn’t working and the key to door wasn’t working. We had to call them several times to come in for daily cleaning. Too much food but low quality. Shower pressure was low in the morning, we call they never sent someone to take a look. It was like they didn’t care their guests request. Their cocktails were too sweet, like their pour too much syrup in their drinks. The location is nice and kayak/paddle boards were fun.

This stay was horrible. Had to change rooms 2 different times because we were given rooms we didn’t book and then the ac wasn’t working and the shower water didn’t get hot. The hotel was over booked and there were many children at the resort. I 100 percent did not have a good time.

Worse vacation ever, still healing from it. First son gets food poisoning within 30 hours of arrival, eating at italian restaurant on property. Hes now suffering with hives for 3 days. Noted human feces on the beach on property multiple days , reported this to management who claimed they could not do anything about it, or be responsible for it. Including not closing beach due to it being unsafe. And to top it off, they had a warer pump vendor outside our room from 9 pm to 230am last night drilling. We were never communicated to regarding this, repeatedly told it was inly going to be one more hour until my husband basically insisted that they turn off the drilling at 2am and resume in am, they turned it off. They did not turn it back on in am as it would inconvenience the spa. No worries about disturbing our sleep though. I met with management regarding refund, credit etc. We have photos and video and managers contact information for all of this and shared with management. Extremely disappointing. This property should be removed from your site due to dangerous cobditions and lack of response or empathy from on site management.

I have stayed in Cancun 6 different times and this was the worst experience I have ever had. The check in took an excessive amount of time, no AC, and we could only could get reservations for dinner 2 nights with very tiny portions given of extremely low quality food. The buffet was awful, and there was absolutely NOTHING to do with my family at the property. We had to book excursions to fill time, and it was a terrible disappointment having spent so much money on the trip. There was no pool side service for food, and room service never answered when we called. Additionally, the food at the snack bar appeared to have been sitting there for days. If it was not for the bartenders, the trip would not have been tolerable.

This hotel is not what it shows in the photos and description. We stayed for a week and paid for an all-inclusive hotel. While there, they told us that we could only go to the restaurants for two days and the rest had to be at the buffet (in the description it said that the 4 restaurants were included for the guests' consumption without restrictions). The buffet food was not varied and almost every day the meat was poorly cooked. When you made reservations for a restaurant they always said that everything was full and when you passed by the restaurant they were never full. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL if you want to enjoy Cancun and its options.
