This is an older building, and the room, although very clean, has aging bathroom with unsmooth tricky shower doors and some minor details of challenges. Free coffee beverages in the lobby is a nice touch, and we also get a free upgrade to a suite when checked in. Extremely walkable to Yaletown and downtown. Excellent transit very frequent buses right outside and just short nice walk to Canada line station, or take any bus down Grandville to get to the Expo line stations. We definitely would want to stay here again in the future for downtown Vancouver access.

I first of all loved all the staff. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you need. I made a mistake with my room number and they were so kind about it andaking me feel comfortable despite my mistake. That is suburb service !! I would recommend and come vavk over and over !!

The staff was very friendly and I thought the free breakfast/hats was a nice touch during Taylor Swift. The area though, not the greatest. Just on the outskirts of sketchy, but I didn't feel unsafe due to the number of people on the streets the weekend I was there. And its within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and Canada Place and BC Place. The rooms are old and the pull out couch was awful, but I liked the kitchenette idea. The bar on Saturday night attached to the hotel was VERY LOUD (it was like you were IN the bar from your room), but Sunday was fine. Overall, you get what you pay for (except for that weekend, when the price charged was NOT reflective of the hotel quality at all....BC gov't, do better on the price gouging). The staff made up for some of the negatives. Friendly & accommodating/helpful.

The front desk employees were excellent, I’ve never had a hotel call me in the room to check that everything is okay. My room was comfortable and clean. Very walkable neighborhood, felt pretty safe even though I’m a woman traveling alone. I would stay here again.
