The property was great. Check-in was ridiculous. Check-in opens at 4pm, we got in line at 4:05. There were only 2 people checking people in and 2 unused check-in computers. A third person finally showed up at 4:35. It took us 35 minutes to get to the front of the line. Totally unacceptable when they know many people will be checking in at that time.

It’s a suitable hotel if you can get it under $150/night. The staff are not very engaged, rooms are tired, and the overall property needs to be freshened up. That said, free parking and on a SkyTrain line is valuable. Gym and pool are fine. St the right price, it’s okay.

The stay at the River Rock was very comfortable. The check in process was smooth and the person doing the check in was very professional. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. There were also good food choices. Transportation to and from the River Rock was convenient. There is a train station at the property that can take you to the airport or downtown and surrounding areas. Would definitely stay there again!
