We stayed here during hurricane Milton. The staff made sure everyone was safe. They allowed pets which was great for the locals seeking shelter.

Nice hotel with a new feel to it. There was plenty of parking and the staff were friendly. There was a lot of noise (thumping sounds) at about 6:40am each of the three nights I was there. The hotel does have shuttlebus transportation, but it is through a 3rd party company, so it's important to make reservations in advance. Also, there are hidden fees such as $5/day for internet and automatic gratuity of food (which led me to unintentionally over tipping). One plus is that there is a Target across the street and a few dining options.

I really want to give this hotel 5 stars because it was a great place to stay, but two things hold me back. First, the good things (of which there are a lot). The hotel is very new, clean, and well maintained. The free breakfast is excellent and restocked constantly. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking to stay off property for Disney, but still be close, this is an excellent option. It is part of the Flamingo Crossings development, which includes 4 hotels, apartments, and an outdoor mall with many shopping and dining options, including a Walgreens and a Target. Now, the two downsides. The hotel advertises a theme park shuttle. In reality, they share a shuttle route with the other three hotels. There are only 50 seats per trip and you have to make reservations. Despite trying as much as 24 hours in advance, we never succeeded in making a reservation for our desired time and ended up taking rideshares to the parks. Also, the shuttle does not go to Universal Studios. The other downside was that I reported a minor maintenance issue in our room (a burned out light) twice, but it never got fixed. Overall, this was a great and convenient place to stay.
