Property has 2 bedrooms - master bedroom with new king bed, dresser, bedside tables, etc., bathroom en suite, two closets, TV, linens and towels. 2nd bedroom contains 2 twin beds, TV, dresser, closet, etc., Linen closet and 2nd bathroom immediately facing bedroom. The apartment is tastefully furnished, and is provided with all amenities including WiFi, internet, cable TV, DVD player, etc. The rental is part of a six unit self-contained courtyard complex. The heated pool is in the center of the courtyard and contains BBQ grill, tables, chairs and loungers for sunbathing. The Bimini Basin is a short walk away where you will find the Four Freedoms Park, picnic area and gated playground for those of you who have children. If you bring your dog with you, there is a small park directly across from the complex where you can walk your pet. Four minutes drive will take you to the Cape Coral Yacht Club with it's pristine white sand beach, Community Park and Clubhouse, playground, and the newly opened Boathouse Bar & Grill/Tiki Bar and provides valet parking for a modest fee. Since the rental is located downtown, you will find close by, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, gyms and shopping.
Taking the Cape Coral Bridge over the beautiful Caloosahatchee River will take you to Fort Myers, a 10 minute drive. A further 15 minute drive will take you to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island and Captiva Island, both famous for their shelling. If you continue further south on Highway 41, you'll find Bonita Beach, Naples and Marco Island. All of the above provide ample shopping outlets, beaches and restaurants. Highway 41 going north will take you to Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Venice, and many other beaches. Further afield is Orlando, 3 hours drive, Miami, 2 1/2 hours drive and Keywest, an 8 hour drive, although there are many tourist boats that will take you there in 2 hours.
If you prefer the outdoors, there are many companies who will provide you with fishing boats, including deep sea fishing, kayaks and canoes, paragliding and much more.
Going west for 30 minutes will take you to the barrier islands of Matlacha, (pronounced Matlashay), a fishing village with many waterfront restaurants, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and tourist memorabilia. Pine Island is home to many mango nurseries and Palm tree nurseries and is also worth a trip.
