Serene Oasis In The Heart Of Downtown Cape Coral

Property has 2 bedrooms - master bedroom with new king bed, dresser, bedside tables, etc., bathroom en suite, two closets, TV, linens and towels. 2nd bedroom contains 2 twin beds, TV, dresser, closet, etc., Linen closet and 2nd bathroom immediately facing bedroom. The apartment is tastefully furnished, and is provided with all amenities including WiFi, internet, cable TV, DVD player, etc. The rental is part of a six unit self-contained courtyard complex. The heated pool is in the center of the courtyard and contains BBQ grill, tables, chairs and loungers for sunbathing. The Bimini Basin is a short walk away where you will find the Four Freedoms Park, picnic area and gated playground for those of you who have children. If you bring your dog with you, there is a small park directly across from the complex where you can walk your pet. Four minutes drive will take you to the Cape Coral Yacht Club with it's pristine white sand beach, Community Park and Clubhouse, playground, and the newly opened Boathouse Bar & Grill/Tiki Bar and provides valet parking for a modest fee. Since the rental is located downtown, you will find close by, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, gyms and shopping.

Taking the Cape Coral Bridge over the beautiful Caloosahatchee River will take you to Fort Myers, a 10 minute drive. A further 15 minute drive will take you to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island and Captiva Island, both famous for their shelling. If you continue further south on Highway 41, you'll find Bonita Beach, Naples and Marco Island. All of the above provide ample shopping outlets, beaches and restaurants. Highway 41 going north will take you to Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Venice, and many other beaches. Further afield is Orlando, 3 hours drive, Miami, 2 1/2 hours drive and Keywest, an 8 hour drive, although there are many tourist boats that will take you there in 2 hours.

If you prefer the outdoors, there are many companies who will provide you with fishing boats, including deep sea fishing, kayaks and canoes, paragliding and much more.

Going west for 30 minutes will take you to the barrier islands of Matlacha, (pronounced Matlashay), a fishing village with many waterfront restaurants, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and tourist memorabilia. Pine Island is home to many mango nurseries and Palm tree nurseries and is also worth a trip.

We had a wonderful time Rudy and Margaret were very very wonderful host it was very nice and quiet there it was very clean the pool was beautiful there anything that we learned is that to ask how the pool is heated because being solar heated the temperatures only got in the 80s so it wasn’t warm enough for us to go swimming but it was very very very very nice

Enjoyable and comfortable stay
Overall this was a positive experience. The condo was clean, well maintained and well furnished for a long stay! The location was close to downtown restaurants and a nice park. Great for bicycling and walking. The only negative was street noise from a busy nearby street that I remedied earplugs. I would stay again, very nice property for the money.

Un peu déçue de la température de l’eau dans la piscine, chauffée par des tuyaux sur la toiture. Endroit super tranquille, voisins gentils. Beaucoup de magasin, épiceries, dépanneurs près du cite. A recommander fortement. Le prix pour la location est justifié. L’appartement manque un peu d’amour; les murs sont à peinturer. Pas vu de fournies ou coquerelles dans le condo et nous avons vu des plaquettes pour éviter d’en avoir, donc c’est très bien. Les matelas sont corrects, avons bien dormi et les draps étaient propres, par nous avons trouvé de la vaisselles sales. Les salles de bain étaient propres. Nous donnons un 4.5/5 .

Our stay was nice.. the complex was quite and cozy. We had a small issue with a toilet backing up , but called Rudy and he was over in minutes and took care of everything. He was extremely nice and generous. Made our transition move from CO to FL very comfortable and worry free. Decent Apartment
We rented for the month of March. Rudy was on the premises almost every day. He immediately checked with us that the place was clean and said to call if we needed anything. It was clean, but apparently the former tenants had issues (fault of the cleaning crew). The location was just a block from the main thoroughfare which was very convenient. It was close to restaurants and markets, but it was also very noisy. As I am a light sleeper, I could hear trucks and motorcycles day and night. If traffic noise doesn't bother you, then this was a good place. The rooms were decent size, but the master bath was very tiny. Windows throughout are old and in need of replacement (reason so much noise could be heard). The kitchen is also tiny even though it has new granite counters. There is very little space for prep work if you like to cook. There is no dishwasher in this unit (but others had one). So some of the limited counter space was taken up by the dish rack. The other renters were very friendly, and we had a great time with them. The pool was well maintained, but some of the landscaping needed attention. As we were staying for a full month, we had to purchase cleaning products (Swiffers) in order to keep the place in good condition. Owners might want to ensure a full complement of supplies. Being on the ground floor was convenient, but it did allow for dust from outside to blow into the apartment. There had been no rain for weeks, and everything was very dry. All in all, we did enjoy ourselves.

The location was good and the property had the ability to be excellent as well. I liked the location and the layout of this unit but overall it was just ok. However, the unit is a little tired and needs sprucing up. The master suite bed was very comfy but the living room furniture was very dirty and we had to cover the sofas with bed sheets. kitchen was well equipped but the chairs were very dirty as well.The cleaners they have dont really clean anything we could see and the dust was collecting on vents,fans,lights and the backs of bedroom chairs. We had to wash the floors three times trying to get the grime off them as well.(the other units had to do the same as we found out) Rudy told us they just changed cleaners so it should be better?The main shower valve went on the fritz and we lost the hot water in that bathroom, We told Rudy (Maggie husband)about the problem and he blew up like a bottle of pop saying this unit wont friggin support 4 adults( 2 bedrooms & two bathrooms???).He was very rude and indignant about it and until I emailed Maggie did the shower get fixed.The pool right at your door step was very handy but some of the out door furniture was old and tired and needs replacing.I honestly think that there is too much work for Rudy to be doing on his own at his time in life and would recommend getting some help! The complex,has real potential and could be fantastic if it was updated. We did enjoy our stay but it was not to our standard.

Very Disappointed Vacation, First and Last Time Staying Here
Will not ever stay with Rudy/Maggie ever again. Condo needs a good cleaning. Dust & dead cockroaches under the furniture, beds. Dusty ceiling fans and AC grates. Both bathrooms were dirty. Living room furniture & kitchen chairs need a long overdue cleaning. Floors were so dirty you didn't dare walk barefooted or in white socks. Kitchen poorly stocked with dishes & cooking utensils. The dish rack was metal and very rusty (We bought a new one.) We also washed all kitchen items before using as well bed linens and towels. Bed pillows not usable, we purchased new ones at Sam's Club, pillow cases too. Two days after arriving the main drain clogged up. Sewage leaked into the large bathroom from under the toilet all over the floor. Called Rudy and Roto Rooter arrived; this was New Year's Eve. Talked with Roto Rooter service tech. He stated, "I told him last month the main drain needed to be cleaned out". We had to clean the sewage off the bathroom floor. No one was sent to clean up the mess. Almost every time we asked Rudy for something he'd get mad. He would say "I'm getting to old for this". Asked for ant traps since the ants were bad. Never got any so we purchased some. Mini-blinds were dirty and most didn't work properly. Frig ice maker had black mold in it. Since we have issues with allergies we checked the furnace filters. They were caked with dust. I asked Rudy for new filters. He exploded. He said there was nothing wrong with the filters. I told him to forget it, I'll just put them back in. He left in a rant and called me an inappropriate name. I confronted him immediately about calling me an inappropriate name and he yelled "Do you want to fight me". He yelled this at least 8 times and threatened to call the police. I told him I didn't want to fight him, I just want new furnace filters. He then yelled, "It's because of people like you that I want to get out of this business". He brought filters & left them on the lanai. I installed them. After this we avoided having any contact with Rudy. When he went into his ranting rage several other families staying in the complex heard him. The day we check out I asked Rudy about the key. He said put it under the door mat and he left. Steve & Helen Danay

Absolutely wonderful. So pretty very peaceful. Beautiiful inside and out. Very friendly owners. The pool is beautiful plants and trees very well kept. Beautifull orange tree and bananna trees in the side yard. If I come back to visit my daughter I hope I will be able to book this spot again. It is convenient to get anything you want and beach is close. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone. We are above pleased.
