The Avalon and Hollander are clean, cute, and conveniently located in downtown St Pete. Great drinks at the bar and very cool ambiance in the lobbies. We will stay here again.

The staff were nice. They provided wine or champagne from 5-7pm on Sunday. The room was nice but faced 4th Ave N which i knew would be noisy and it was. The noise from cars and people talking did not subside until well past midnight on Sunday night. Also the room doors shut very loudly and doors were shutting well past midnight very loudly. Maybe the front desk can ask guests to be cognizant of this fact so they don't let their doors slam especially late at night when others are trying to sleep.

Very good experience! Loved the complimentary wine and champagne … only bad experience is that we had a couple down the hall arguing loudly from 3:30-5:00 in the morning. Ugh.

Great little property. Friendly staff and comfy atmosphere. It is a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper. Pool area is pleasant and plenty of space to hang out and relax.
