The hotel itself was fine. I got hassled by the front reception for bringing my hunting rifle to my room. It was a big invasion of my privacy. He wanted to see my firearms license and everything. I was very close to going to a different hotel but he called the hotel manager and they let me stay there. The rifle was in a case and not observable to any of the guests. I’ve never felt discriminated before in my life and now I understand how others must feel. It was a bad experience.

A very pleasant stay. Great area for close to shopping, restaurants, university etc. Staff is very friendly. Access to swimming pool in sister property across parking lot was nice. Room very spacious and I was impressed how clean everything was for a very busy/older property.

The staff was very courteous and the room was clean. We enjoyed dinner at the Prestige Aberdeen Hotel across the parking lot, which was nice not having to drive around looking for a place to eat. I would stay here again.

Excellent room. Best bed we’ve ever slept in. The room and bed and bathroom made this rental a good value for the cost. BUT Very limited facilities outside of room. Lobby area is very small and utilitarian with small unappealing sitting area as well as lone couch in hallway along with stools at countertop against hallway wall. Lobby area needs to be redesigned to make it more welcoming including tabletop lighting rather than overhead institutional light and pictures in walls to create an inviting atmosphere).

Quick overnight stay
We had a quick overnight stay on our way to Vancouver Island. The room was nice, but we did run into some noisy neighbors' with children running in the hall until 10:30
