The hotel had the feel of a old world pension hotel, yet everything was sleek and modern - this gave it a very unique feel. The staff were extremely friendly and this also gave the hotel a more personal feel. The breakfast room is in the basement and felt a little like a cafeteria, yet it was very functional for our needs and I appreciated the spaciousness and microwave to heat meals for our lunches to go. The kitchen staff were also very friendly and efficient. This hotel is in a very old building so the rooms are small - not even a dresser. Because we were there just to sleep this worked OK. We also used the breakfast room for extra space. I would definitely stay here again!

The street in front of property has limited access due to construction. Some homeless people loitering the area is a bit of concern when walking around at night.

Loved the easy access to transport but the area is under construction and I didn't realize that clearing walkways of snow was optional in Montreal. The hotel itself was adequate/good. Breakfast was good for hot and cold options with lots of seating. I walk stairs and there were heaters / driers on the colder 1st floor, so things ok. We had a double double and beds were comfortable and clean but no chair to sit on or place to put our soiled shoes besides entrance that we had to step over to get to bathroom. There was toilet paper in toilet when we arrived, not used, and the shower had a half glass wall, but no shower door. This made for more of a wet floor. We had a change in plans so needed to stay an extra night. Despite Expedia saying there were rooms available there were not. Christina at front desk was very helpful to get me a room in a shared hotel across the street and price marched Expedia rate. That was great.

Une très petite chambre, pas de machine à café, nous avons dû aller au premier étage pour avoir un café, pas de micro-ondes comme d'habitude dans les Quality Hotels et la porte de la salle de bain n'était qu'à mi-hauteur, il n'y avait aucun moyen de la fermer et d'éviter de mouiller toute la salle de bain. This property was good however there is no on site parking. When you arrive you can leave your car infront of the hotel for 15 minutes drop off your stuff and then park. The parking is 1 minute walking distance however driving you must drive around because it’s on a one way street. Parking is $18.00 per day, eveytime you leave you will need to pay. The room sizes are ok the bigger the bed the bigger the room. Breakfast was decent, the excerise room has 3 machines, fairly small. Overall for the price it was good.

It's clean, quiet and has a good location. It has a shared coffee room at the first floor and no coffee at the rooms. I would prefer coffee at the rooms. The access is not very convenient because of a short steep stair. There is a elevator though, but I think it's for wheelchair access. Parking is very close to the hotel.

This was the second time that I have stayed here. I don't know if it was my room location but this stay was much more noisy. Most of the noise came from the hall, it seemed like doors were constantly being slammed shut. The people cleaning the rooms were not very quiet either. Everything else was pretty breath though. The front desk employees were especially friendly.

The hotel was overall excellent—clean, comfortable, and with great amenities. However, the housekeepers were quite loud in the hallways, with banging against walls while cleaning nearby rooms, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful experience
