The bath tub had mould in the corner of it. The hallways smell like smoke. The exterior was nice, location is good and front end staff were amazing.

This hotel was serviceable but only average and it's in an area of Edmonton that is car reliant - nothing was really walkable. I was really impressed with the lobby/restaurant area when we arrived, it was stunning with the wood, stone carvings and the indigenous cultural pieces. So much so that it was a real shame that the same can't be said for the rooms (or at least the room I was in.) The room aesthetic was very dated/old looking. We had small specific issues during our stay such as the shower head in the bathroom was rusted with a skewy spray, the carpet looked (and felt :( ) like it needed to be replaced, the black out curtains had holes and rips in them, the side table lamps had plug ins but they were unreliable/loose and the guest laundry was broken/wouldn't work when I went to try and use it. I will say the staff were nice - the person checking us in especially so. I don't regret staying - we made it work and it was cost effective. Just don't expect anything grand.

The staff were absolutely amazing! Our room was clean and nice and we were treated very well by all the staff. Too no fault of the hotel there is some homelessness in the area.
