Quaint. Clean. Easy check in. Close to subway. So many dining places within walking distance. Room is a great temperature and can control the temp. Comfy bed.
Beautiful wood work on staircase and on the entrance walls. Beautiful artwork. Clean room. The young lady working at front desk deserves a raise. So helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back.
Always a great stay at the Madison. Its right in the middle of all the nearby action whether its restaurants, bars, shopping or otherwise. Only a few seconds from the subway that will take you anywhere, and if youre not feeling adventurous you can wander into the connected Madison Pub for food and drinks. Its really the perfect spot when staying over in Toronto.
Absolutely perfect for a short walk back from Lee’s Palace! Beware the upstairs bar if you’re sensitive to noise—convenient for us, however. Even though it was end of school year and a bit rowdy it couldn’t stand up to my white noise machine. Huge parking lot at rear of building was also rather convenient. Having to walk around through the front at night not as convenient but certainly more secure. I will definitely keep in mind for future trips!
The toilet seat was not cleaned from the previous guest, so that was a little gross. Aside from that the room was okay. Overall it was pretty decent and good location. Easy to check in and out.
Been here before, will be again. Very rustic feel and the hotel bar is great! I liked it even more when I heard someone fell through the roof. 11/10. Just to clarify the roof thing here, the person was not supposed to be on the roof, it has no reflection on the safety of this establishment. I just thought that was a pretty rock and roll thing to happen on st Patrick’s day adding to the character of the place. Thanks!
The place is victorian house. Every amenities are minutes waking distance. Kensington market, Queens park, Ontario Musium, everything is there.

Disliked: Amenities
If you are going to try to have a good night slepp and rest, this is not the place.
They have a bar which is part of the hotel which wont allow you to rest.
I spent until 2 am when the bar close tobe able to rest.
The music was so loud that that I feel the vibrations of the bass in the walls of my room.
