Selene

Service was great and it’s walking distance to many restaurants. It has a restaurant inside and closed parking which was great. The rooms are very spacious but the A/C installed seems like they are not operational. You had to open the windows but you could hear all the movement from outside. The hotel is a little bit dated, but it was very clean. Also it was one of the few hotels that can have 4 guests in one room. I would recommend it and come again.

The property is in an interesting neighborhood, many things easily accessible by foot. It is rather a noisy area and as for the rooms, the sofa bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept in and we were just camping for 9 days.

Overall a great stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our suite was cozy but clean. Parking was self accessible without need for valet which was nice. The location is great and very central, and walkable to a number of eateries. Granville street, however, is rundown and smelly, and best avoided. The week before we arrived, two people were stabbed on the street close to the hotel. The rest of the neighborhood is quite clean and safe. Housekeeping was adequate. One day, a bag of garbage was simply left in the middle of the room, however. Would stay here again.

Ok in vancouver
Hotel location good for walks to various venues. Located in an area with a lot of homeless and drug users. Really takes away from city. The urine smell is difficult. Maybe Yaletown a better location.
