Perfect down-town Vancouver hotel
A great city centre hotel - it was buzzy on the ground floor but lovely and quiet in my room - just right. My room was the perfect size - had everything I needed but still felt cosy.

The staff were great, location very good. Room 715 was very nice, but little to no air conditioning. The bedroom area did not even have any kind of unit to blow any kind of cool air. We had to have 2 fans going, which is not what I expect when paying over $500 a night. Disappointing.

The person during check in was very nice and friendly. And the room itself was pretty good as well. Very clean. The reason why I had a bad experience was because my headphones went missing from the room while I was out exploring Vancouver. I didn’t expect stuff to go missing from such a nice hotel. I know you’re not supposed to leave stuff in the hotel room but in my years of travelling and staying in hotels or even motels, I’ve never had stuff go missing. So it was very surprising when I realized my headphones went missing from the room. When I tried to tell this to the front desk person during check out he was very dismissive and just said to call lost and found the next day.

Stayed July 2024. Hotel is only ~20mim walk from Vancouver Centre Station so easy to reach from the airport via sky train. Very clean and comfortable and as it’s a suites hotel, room was large and spacious, conformable bed with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. A variety of restaurants nearby with nice little 24hr bakery only a block away. Everywhere is easily accessible on foot so if you don’t mind walking, hotel location is ideal. There are a lot of drug issues and homeless around the city but despite this, didn’t feel threatened. I’d certainly recommend the hotel for value and comfort and not bad at all in terms of location.

The bar was excellent. The drinks were the best I had anywhere in Vancouver, Alaska port, or the cruise ship. I liked that we could walk anywhere. Great staff too.
