This was our first time in a Sonder. It was fantastic. I appreciate the 24/7 chat and we even saw several staff with Sonder shirts on while we were there. It seemed more like a very nice apartment as opposed to a hotel. I love that they had Davines toiletries. And, they are very eco friendly. Our bathroom light would sometimes turn off when in the shower, but that was our own fault. Further, they really make things very comfortable and even decorated for the Taylor Swift concert and provided ear protection and chocolates. We would definitely stay in a Sonder again.

This was our first time staying at a Sonder. Honestly, we were nervous at first, but they made the stay very comfortable and incredibly easy. I love the 24/7 chat and the space was very comfortable and had a lot of nice things for a vacation (kitchen, ability to control the temperature, a great patio, etc). It felt almost like a really nice apartment as opposed to a hotel. The location was great as well. The company even did a lot to celebrate the Taylor Swift concert that was in town, which was really nice. The only thing that was a little bit of a nuisance was that we couldnt figure out the bathroom lights which seemed to be on a schedule and would automatically turn off sometimes in the shower. However, we didn't ask about them and it was our own fault.

This was our first time staying in a Sonder and we were really pleased with the accommodation. The location was really good and the hotel felt very safe and secure. The amenities were great and the wi-fi connection was really good. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely use Sonder again.

Sonder hit the notes—quiet, safe, clean—but failed in several ways. First, the room lighting is either one glaring bright white sun in the middle of the ceiling or these tiny yellow bedside lights that no one could read by. The plus for whatever electronics you have are snaked behind the bed on an add-on power strip and are not easy to access. It’s a tangle of wires under each bedside table. There is a small dining set for two with stiff chairs covered in grimy yellow fabric placed between the bed and the bathroom. Inconvenient to say the least. There are no other seating options in the room. Lastly, there is no dresser into which you can unpack your clothes. There is a closet and an open bookshelf, but that’s it. On the plus side, the neighborhood is quiet and very walkable, the bed is comfortable, the access codes work well, the shower has decent water pressure, and there is a functioning coffee maker.

the stay was comfortable in every way. parking was easy. there was grocery and dining options right at doorstep. the apartment was very clean. the kitchen had lots of dishes and spoons that we needed. the only thing we didnt like was the view outside the windows which was of the dirty rooftop. but didnt need the windows at all.

We have never stayed at a place that has no contact so it took some time to get a feel for how things worked. The room was fine with a little noise from something going on below and a neighbor that opened their shade with a chain of pull. Several restaurants and coffee shops nearby so you can pick out whatever you’re hungry for. Also the beach was very close. In the other direction you can walk to major shops and/or the sea wall, both about a mile away.

We loved this property - so close to everything we wanted to do in Vancouver. We used public transportation to get there (easy) and even though our flight was delayed, we had no problem getting into our suite. This property is so walkable, close to English Bay, the sea wall, and Stanley Park.

Our stay was good. Hotels.com booked us in a wheelchair accessible room without my requesting it. I didn’t notice on my confirmation. The room was very well equipped for that, but, since we don’t need it, it was sparse. We were without a full closet, no drawers, no kitchen drawers, one chair at the table and a roll in shower. That was not ideal for us. When I asked the hotel about moving they told me I had to contact Expedia. We were only there a few days so rather just dealt with the room. Sonder is similar to European hotels with no front desk, a coded entry, but very clean and well appointed rooms, with patios for each. I would recommend staying there, just pay attention when you reserve through hotels.com that you are booked in the room you requested!

The room was ok, but the windows were all on one wall that faced giant windows in the hall and elevator. Your entire roomand its occupants was completely visible to anyone walking by (the room next door was also somewhat but less visible). In order to have any privacy you had to lower the black out shades. Which made the room dark and sad. When I contacted the property about an alternate room they suggested I lower the shades. Otherwise they could move me to a new room and I’d be charge more for this new accommodation. Obviously when you have no staff present the first thing to go is customer service. If someone bothered to walk to property they would realize that frosting those hall windows would fix this problem. Thus making everyone more comfortable. You wouldn’t even have to frost the entire window to fix this.
