This was our first time in a Sonder. It was fantastic. I appreciate the 24/7 chat and we even saw several staff with Sonder shirts on while we were there. It seemed more like a very nice apartment as opposed to a hotel. I love that they had Davines toiletries. And, they are very eco friendly. Our bathroom light would sometimes turn off when in the shower, but that was our own fault. Further, they really make things very comfortable and even decorated for the Taylor Swift concert and provided ear protection and chocolates. We would definitely stay in a Sonder again.

This was our first time staying at a Sonder. Honestly, we were nervous at first, but they made the stay very comfortable and incredibly easy. I love the 24/7 chat and the space was very comfortable and had a lot of nice things for a vacation (kitchen, ability to control the temperature, a great patio, etc). It felt almost like a really nice apartment as opposed to a hotel. The location was great as well. The company even did a lot to celebrate the Taylor Swift concert that was in town, which was really nice. The only thing that was a little bit of a nuisance was that we couldnt figure out the bathroom lights which seemed to be on a schedule and would automatically turn off sometimes in the shower. However, we didn't ask about them and it was our own fault.

Everything was amazing! So many of the details that add to a comfortable stay were considered and executed. The area was perfect for my needs and the lobby and essentials closet were clean and accessible. The room itself was clean and well thought out. I loved opening the patio door and getting a fresh breeze and hearing the birds. I can’t wait to stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights at Sonder at Revival and had the most wonderful time. Having arrived after dark, access was quick and easy with our code and our studio was cosy and welcoming. The area felt more residential which was ideal for what we wanted, but everything we needed was within a few minutes walk with great restaurants on Denman Street and two big Safeway supermarkets with a 6-7 minute walk either direction. The heart of downtown was within easy walking distance as was English Bay for the beach and the sea wall, Stanley Park within 10 minutes, and Granville Island in about 20 minutes on foot and by water taxi. The building itself was modern, clean and inviting, and the studio very well equipped with kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, hob and microwave (and a big fridge freezer too!). This was my second stay at a Sonder property, and with another two booked for next summer I think I’ve definitely found my favourite brand to stay with!

Room had a smart TV which we appreciated and the kitchen was clean and well stocked. The cleanliness was acceptable however it could have been better. The main issue was it was very noisy with lots of loud humming noises and you could hear the road noise very clearly. They did provide earplugs however had i known this when booking i may have chosen to stay elsewhere. The blinds also werent that effective as they let light in from the business across the road. Overall it was acceptably clean, nicely decorated and well stocked, but the noise let it down.

We stayed at this location for a week while visiting. Pros: The location is fantastic as are the amenities nearby. There were no issues with the unit - everything worked well and was reasonably clean. Cons: The outdoor space offers little to no privacy. Being on the bottom floor, we needed to keep our blinds closed most of the time.

We enjoyed having a kitchenette and the place was quiet. It's so quiet you sometimes feel like you are the only one there. Things to keep in mind: it's not a traditional hotel where there's a reception desk. They have an app you download and you have to do some reading prior to your arrival. We just happened to see a staff there when we arrived but most of the time there was no staff present other than the occasional housekeeper. If you want to want to check in early, you do have to pay so that the staff can anticipate your arrival. Depending on where your room is located, you might have to make lots of turns to get there. Things that could improve: the bed was extremely hard and made a lot of noise when moving. The bedframe also creaked with every movement as well. My husband and I woke up no less than 5 times every night because of how uncomfortable the bed was. The bed also kept sliding and pushing out whatever was plugged into the outlet next to it. Speaking of outlets, most of the outlets didn't want to hold anything that was plugged into it. It's quiet when there's no one but when you do have neighbors the walls are paper thin. That's probably why they provide a noise machine and ear plugs. The blinds don't block out all the light so the neighboring apartment lights will beam right in.

Overall the hotel was great. The room was roomy and clean but bathroom was pretty tight. Only thing that I concerned was the third-party parking which I paid $23 overnight. But it located in the same building.

Good location and spacious room.
Lovely room with all amenities in an excellent location. Comfortable beds and quality linen. Only issues we had were bizarre construction noise in the building in the early hrs of all 3 nights, which Sonder are trying to get to the bottom of, and a power problem on 1 full wall. Other than that its a quality accom.

Sonder hit the notes—quiet, safe, clean—but failed in several ways. First, the room lighting is either one glaring bright white sun in the middle of the ceiling or these tiny yellow bedside lights that no one could read by. The plus for whatever electronics you have are snaked behind the bed on an add-on power strip and are not easy to access. It’s a tangle of wires under each bedside table. There is a small dining set for two with stiff chairs covered in grimy yellow fabric placed between the bed and the bathroom. Inconvenient to say the least. There are no other seating options in the room. Lastly, there is no dresser into which you can unpack your clothes. There is a closet and an open bookshelf, but that’s it. On the plus side, the neighborhood is quiet and very walkable, the bed is comfortable, the access codes work well, the shower has decent water pressure, and there is a functioning coffee maker.

the stay was comfortable in every way. parking was easy. there was grocery and dining options right at doorstep. the apartment was very clean. the kitchen had lots of dishes and spoons that we needed. the only thing we didnt like was the view outside the windows which was of the dirty rooftop. but didnt need the windows at all.
