Stopped here for one night, pre-cruise. Huge lobby, nice fitness center and very spacious room. Stayed on the sixth floor which is probably a bit too close to the traffic noise.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past decade and always have a great experience. Excellent location, rooms and common areas are well designed, overlooks the beautiful Miami River and the striking downtown buildings. Would have given 5 stars except for parking issues: valet very expensive and staff didn't seem to be able to efficiently direct us to parking garage (which we eventually found on our own). This is the first time we have traveled to downtown Miami using our personal vehicle rather than relying on public transportation, which was a mistake. Also, in order to check in an hour early had to pay an additional $20. The room was ready. That is a pretty offensive policy. We checked out at 6:45 am, which is over 4 hours before check-out time, perhaps we will be due a credit? (NOT! -LOL)

The value for the valet parking is extremely expensive (us$ 53.00 per day), and at the end you don't need car for movilizing in downtown Miami.

To be completely honest, the individual responsible for checking us in did not exude a pleasant demeanor, which unfortunately did not create a welcoming atmosphere for us. However, it is important to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by the door staff and valet. Apart from this, the cleanliness of the rooms was commendable. However, the pool area could benefit from some refurbishment as it appeared somewhat outdated and in need of maintenance. Additionally, the noise from the street was quite noticeable in the room, which is understandable considering the downtown location. Nevertheless, the provision of a sound machine to mitigate the noise was a thoughtful gesture, although it could have been more effective in blocking out the external sounds. All and all it was an ok stay- would not stay again unfortunately.
