The property is quaint and well taken care of. The breakfast was excellent and there is parking on site for $10. Best of all, if you are in reasonably good health (we're 78 and 79), it is within walking distance of major sites (Byward Market, National Gallery, Notre Dame Cathedral, Parliament buildings, etc.).

Old Victorian charm and lovely staff provide a great place to stay in downtown Ottawa. Staff were responsive, parking affordable, and breakfast delicious.

The McGee Inn is conveniently located. The house has a historic charm and is very comfortable. The breakfast choices, quality, and presentation were excellent. One minor disappointment was that the bathroom in my room could only be accessed from the corridor. This was very inconvenient. I believe that this unusual layout may only be associated with Room 14.

This was a great place for a weekend for two. We stayed in a lovely room, the Egyptian suite on the first floor and the breakfast was delightful. Read highly recommend this and will be coming back again.

Great Weekend
This was our first time staying at McGee's Inn and we would definitely stay here again on future visits to Ottawa. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is very nice. Very quant and charming old inn.

It's a lovely place, comfortable and quiet. It's small but very comfortable and clean. The Inn is 15 minutes' walking distance from downtown. It's affordable and very convenient.

Great Inn with ambience
This was our second stay at McGee's Inn, and it was wonderful. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities one would expect as well as some unexpected ones like lip balm and soothing bath crystals. The location is great, short walk to downtown and the Byward Market, but still far enough away to be quiet for sleeping. We would return again, and probably will.

Went for a weekend staycation. Great service. Room was really clean. Close to the action. Good breakfast. Only issue was that the bed was the hardest we've ever slept on!
