Property was ok for a one night layover of 16 hours, but I'm not sure I'd stay here for more than that. Property needs some serious updating - floors in the hallways look like something out of the 1960's (when avocado green, fuschia and purple were popular carpet choices), and the bathrooms are looking a bit rundown (that aging, dirty tile look). On the positive side, the beds are comfortable, the actual room flooring has been upgraded and they do have a 24 hr. shuttle from the airport!

Staff gave an extra effort
I arrived after midnight and the Desk Manager was awesome in helping me get the shuttle from the airport. The online info page showing the shuttle schedule says to wait at S5 but the actual stop in Terminal 1 is R3. I was tired and irritated but he helped make it work out. Thank you. I also really like the service and food in the restaurant.

I had an early flight to catch next morning so I stayed at this hotel for one night. I was initially quite surprised as my room was very quiet despite being super close to the airport. However, the nightmare began from 3 am in the midnight. The AC suddenly turned super loud and I could feel cool air coming out from the fan despite set to heat mode. The noise last for 15 minutes until I turned off the AC but I had to leave it back on as it was -20 outside so it would be impossible to sleep without heating. After that, the AC started making noise once every hour, each time around 10 minutes before going back to normal. I was kept awake all night as the noise was quite disturbing and the room was super dry and cold due to the cool air constantly getting pumped in. If I had stayed longer I would definitely have had called the management. Other than that the hotel was quite good overall: the staff were very friendly and there was a shuttle constantly running back and forth from the hotel to the terminals, but I would never choose this hotel again.
