The Good: The woman who helped us check in was THE BEST!! Kudos on the efficiency and anticipating needs/questions. Really friendly too - well done. The Opportunities: The room however is a little dated looking with messy finishes and could be cleaner - great view but the sink doesn’t drain. Could be better considering the cost for a night.

Perfect location! The hotel was very busy and the elevators took a long time to reach the 40 th floor. I think the parking fees were excessive-$70 to self park, $100 for valet per night.

The beds were not luxury by any means. Thin and unsupportive, we could feel every spring. The toilets are exceptionally low to the ground. Even our youngest barely fit. 4 elevators plus a cargo elevator is not enough for the amount of guests this hotel holds. Especially during the breakfast rush. Having to wait 20-25 minutes while watching the elevator pass your floor repeatedly was very frustrating. Beautiful view of the falls, great location to the falls. Staff was always pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was mediocre for such a pricey hotel. Home2Suites serves a better variety and also surpasses freshness over this hotel. Would we stay again? Maybe, at a friendlier price.

Room wasn’t the cleanest. Muddy shoe print in bathroom, housekeeping did not come even though we saw their cart in our hallway. Was gone all day and came back to a dirty room. Had to request clean towels and someone to fix the toilet while we were out for the day and when we came back at night all dirty towels were still left on the floor and garbage bins full. Parking situation was awful but the lady who drove the shuttle was a sweetheart.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Fallsview. Be aware that “Fallsview” is part of the name of the hotel, and does not indicate that the room will have a view of the Falls. Make sure when booking that the room type says Fallsview. I travelled with my parents, and they did not understand when I explained that to them, and they were not happy with the view of the parking lot and surrounding buildings. My room did have a view of the Falls, but it was beyond a parking lot and far away. We had to zoom in a lot to really see the Falls. Just sharing this to help with expectations. The free breakfast was a madhouse. There were not enough tables, and every part of the breakfast had a line. My daughter waited an hour for an omelet. The food was not great, and we didn’t want to deal with it again, so we ate out for breakfast for the rest of our trip. Also, they do not clean the rooms unless you are staying at least 4 nights, which they did not tell us when we checked in. So our trash wasn’t taken out, and I had to call every day for them to bring us new towels and shampoo. This was a deal-breaker for my parents, who ended up moving hotels. I didn’t change hotels, but I also would not stay there again.

Very busy but lots of staff to help out. Breakfast was crazy on Sunday, long lines. Loved being able to see the falls from room. Bartenders kinda had an attitude with the free drink ticket holders!
