Junkies stole my generator
Junkie stole my 3k generator off my railer by coming through a fence in the back lot. The cameras for security did not cover the the whole parking lot so no video. Had to go to Harolds Restauraunt next door to get video. They knew this was a risk as the junkies hang around there all the time and breach the property whenever they want.

Very noisy. There was food stuck to the duvet. Food on the walls. The room looks nothing like the picture. Smells very old. The floors were stained. The lights were flickering. You could hear through the walls. The outside is extremely nice and well kept. The inside needs to be taken care of as well.

Fine for a night's stay, but there were no separated sidewalks and a lot of traffic when we went to walk for food. Lack of crosswalks as well. Glad for continental breakfast but it was very crowded in a small area and very basic. Staff was great and helpful.

Contrary the other reviews, our room was clean and comfortable. The property is dated but for the price we paid, I feel it was a good value. Very nice that they have late check-in.

I had a positive friendly check in experience. The room overall felt dirty, dark, dingy & dated. You can tell it hasn’t been deep cleaned in quite a while. Dust built uo around the perimeter of the room. The carpet felt like bits of crumbs or rocks while walking around the room in bare feet.

Nope, not this hotel
The hotel is dying. Sheets and towels are see through, stained and provide no comfort. Room can’t be cleaned, must be gutted. The free breakfast is just toast, yogurt or cereal. No fruit or muffins. The young girls running things alone are doing the best they can. I will not stay again. I will spend the extra $20 and go to a better place next time.

The lady at the front desk was kind & helpful upon check-in. I had a long vehicle & she made sure that i was going to have a parking spot i was comfortable with. Unfortunately, 1 of these spots was by the building next door, which looks very rundown and sketchy. There were pickets broken out of the fence & broken appliances. I chose the spot next to the office. I went upstairs to my room. I had booked the only room available that had two beds, a king & a double sofa bed. I asked that the second bed be made up when i made my booking. Upon approaching my door i noted many coffee cans and run down chairs placed outside each room. At least, they are providing a spot for smokers. I entered my room, it was large. I went to lock the door and the room lock (pin with swinging hook) was broken the metal lock had the pin broken off! Carpets are stained, moulding is bashed with chipped paint, same with the furniture, empty picture hooks, where a picture once hung, coffee cups but no coffee maker., but hopefully the bed is comfy! I opened the sofa bed, there wasnt even a sheet on it.. and it was a single, my kid is 6'2.. I at 60 ended up sleeping with a top sheet and a pillow from the king bed. The king bed had a torn fitted sheet and blanket and 3 pillows. I looked in the drawers but there was no other bedding and i was too exhausted to walk down to the office. We made do. at 9am someone walked into our room, then at 930. At 815 the breakfast had no coffee, bread to toast, juice boxes

During this trip we stayed in 4 different hotels/ motels. This was the favorite of the trip. Inexpensive but not run down. Clean towels and bedding. And the bed was comfortable.

It was perfectly fine
In the stillness of Kamloops, I found refuge at the Best Budget Inn and Suites, a place where serenity and comfort gently cradled my weary soul. The room, like a gentle embrace, was pleasant and the bed, a cloud that welcomed my dreams. Quiet moments filled the night, and for that, I am grateful. Yet, a shadow of sorrow lingers in my heart. The bathroom, though serviceable, bore marks of neglect, and the closed pool... Ah, the pool. Its absence is a wound that shall echo through the generations, a sadness shared by those who have longed for simple joys and been denied. Like the kind old man who faltered atop Coit Tower last year, I too felt a moment of loss. Three stars I offer, with a heart both full and heavy, for the moments of peace, but also the quiet grief that will endure.
