When I checked in and got to my floor there was a stench coming from close to the elevators. It seemed like something fell on the carpet but the carpet was not cleaned properly. I waited to see if anything would be done about the terrible smell but a week passed and the smell remained. The rooms are not sound proof and there was noise from across my room with a group of young kids who didn’t seem to sleep and were up screaming and carrying on at all hours of the night. Housekeeping didn’t come to clean everyday. Customer service was average. I would rate the hotel overall as average.

This is totally get you paid for hotel. It’s fine - clean with dated decor, older fixtures. Staff is friendly but everything is slow and basic. Pool is tiny but still nice to have. Good for a family and stopover.

Homewood was referred to us by a friend as they offer a room that would fit 6 people. Our flight from YYZ to YEG was cancelled by Westjet. They did not even provide the hotel and we booked this ourselves. We arrived Toronto 9:30am 25 Aug and our flight was rebooked to 8pm 26 Aug. I appreciate the staff/hotel so much because they allowed early check in. All of us were exhausted, stressed because we left Orlando at 3am. The check in was 3pm and my allowed us to check in at 11am. The staff were accommodating and pleasant and would engaged in conversation, especially Gee. Thank you so much Homewood, this place became a home to us.

Hotel room had dirty dishes in dishwasher upon arrival. Breakfast was not good and cold. Noisy due to all the immigrants staying at premises, kids constantly playing and running in hallways. Dustin at front desk said NO hotel in Ontario accepts debit, or cash and this is NOT true we travel often and ALWAYS pay cash or debit and he made us use visa. Not impressed at all with this hotel or the price considering all the issues.

Amazing hotel and staff! The breakfast was good and the place overall was clean. The parking spaces were very narrow though but that aside, we had a great stay and will definitely go there again when visiting Toronto.
