Getaway break
Such a unique hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Love being able to play records! It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The view from the rooftop restaurant was excellent. The service in the main floor restaurant at breakfast was a little slow but pleasant. Also there’s a $30 charge per hour for late check out which most hotels waive.

Have stayed at this location before and loved it. Staff is super friendly and helpful via text. The only downside was there was an event Friday and the music was super loud and audible until 1am. Would recommend but call to confirm there aren’t events scheduled during your stay.

Took the staff 3 attempts before they removed our room service, we told the front desk, then texted and then had to call. Shower is quite difficult to get into, super poorly designed door that leaks as well. Food was great, design wonderful, our vinyl record didnt work. There was also some guys on our floor who made the most annoying noises for a long portion of the day and no one said anything to them.

Wonderful stay at the Broadview Hotel! I had a beautiful, clean corner room with everything I needed, and more. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, so 5 stars for them! I'm not very familiar with the east end of Toronto, and was staying from out of town for a concert. The location was perfect, but the building itself was so full of charm I would have enjoyed the stay even if it was a bit out of the way. Thanks, Broadview staff!

I love the hotel and the rooftop bar. The view is amazing. I did not love the idea of having to pay 30$ for a late checkout, one hour. Otherwise a great stay.

Hotel was very clean, great atmosphere. Traditional Room is small but very clean and excellent bathroom. Front Desk staff were incredible, Bistro staff and food was excellent. Rooftop restaurant service was lackluster even with only 4 tables of guests we sat for 20 minutes during happy hour without refills and hand to raise our hands and wave for a refill. Would not return or recommend Rooftop Restaurant.

The hotel is beautiful. Well designed, great aesthetic, but you couldn’t pay me to stay here again. The front desk staff are exceptionally incompetent and the customer service is nonexistent. Waiting almost an hour for someone to respond to my breakfast order was just the tip of the iceberg. I had to basically beg them to accept the 50 red roses I was told could be delivered in advance after they refused the driver twice (There was a note on my booking but front desk couldn’t find it because they only read the note for the recipient of the flowers and neglected to see my name clearly printed as the sender until the driver came back a third time…) It’s a motel experience parading as luxury. Please hire professionals. Update: 4 days ago they responded to this message saying they’d like to speak to me about my experience, no one has reached out to me. An item was left in the room which we called about the same day we checked out. I was told they would let us know when it was handed in by housekeeping, no follow up by them regarding that. This place is awful, truly. I’ve actually never experienced such terrible hospitality.
