"Beautiful beach"

"Moon Palace Sunrise was lovely. There are 3 Moon Palace hotels located next to one another. They are very safe, within a gated setting. We were in the Sun Rise. The Sunrise has the multiple pools that are usually shown in the advertisement pictures. The other two hotels have pools but not ones that look and feel as relaxing and beautiful as the Sunrise pool area. The staff were friendly, tips are already included so completely optional. The room and facilities are clean. All inclusive includes all drinks and food at restaurants, mini fridge in room, room service, mini golf, all arcade games and ping pong and air hockey-basically everything you need or want. They are very clear if there is an activity or situation where you have to pay. My only annoyance was the constant check in with me to see if I wanted an excision or to spend 90 mins at a sales pitch to get a day pass to the main Grand Moon Palace hotel that has the water park. I walked there and was not impressed and did not feel like I missed out by not taking them up on the day pass. The Sunrise pool has kiddy slides and fun water park kiddy stuff, the other hotel had a single slide for adults and bigger kids. I did not see the waterpark in Grand, but not sure I was missing out. The beach is beautiful but there was seaweed on the shore making swimming less appealing. They did a great job trying to clear it daily. Other than that, a Fantastic, relaxing vacation. Lots to do, beautiful scenery, and friendly staff!"

"This is my second time visited the Las Americas Riu and this time was even better than the last. Rooms and resort are clean and tidy. The staff is warm and helpful, it’s not noisy but there’s still plenty to do and perfect spot to relax. Riu party’s are a nice option and complementary shuttle makes it accessible for everyone. Food is decent- buffet has a variety of options especially if you have a special diet like myself, lots of fresh fruit. I only had one incident and the man at reception, Geo took care of it promptly and ensured I had a very special birthday trip. Thankful to the hard working amazing staff and can’t wait to go back. "

"It’s a great resort. Staff is great and my brother and I had an amazing time. Just a heads up - even though it’s not a couple only resort, mostly couples were there. So, good for family vacations. We also kept asking for a divider for privacy in the room and bathroom but we never got one. Food was very average. The Indian restaurant served poor-quality Indian food. It wasn’t a deal breaker because location is amazing and staff’s friendly. Amazing access to the beach. "
