It’s a great hotel. However our keys had to be fixed twice and we had no cable in our room which we found odd. Also, the ice machine on the 12th floor wasn’t working and when I advised cleaning staff I was told that I needed to go downstairs and tell reception. Otherwise the hotel and staff were great.

didn’t enjoy the bathroom doors that didn’t close all the way, led to less restful sleeps hearing people moving around and use the washroom at night. also had some incredibly loud neighbours which also dampened the experience. overall lovely hotel and staff were very nice and attentive.

There was no ice at all. It seems the dispenser wasn't working. Our room wasn't ready, even though we were past the check in time. The café was out of stock of most everything on the menu including butter. The chair in the room was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've experienced...basically useless. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was very roomy. Overall I would stay here again.

I loved my stay at the Alt!! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful! They always greeted us with a smile and were quick to help with anything we needed or asked. The hotel is clean and comfortable and I love its focus on eco friendliness. It was a quick and easy walk to so many tourist highlights such as Parliament, Rideau Centre mall, and Byward Market. I will be back!
