King Edward is probably the worst street in Ottawa. Lots of homeless people and drug addicts. The hotel is great and safe but you don’t want to walk out there at night.

Uninspiring check in- insisting on a credit card even though debit card sufficed. Great room large, nice shower, noisy a/c but effective. Very average breakfast offering. 10-12 min walk from Byward Market area.

The hotel it self is great. Amenities were great, the breakfast was hood with decent variety. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Security wascgreat as well. Although there is paid parking at a reasonable dailyvrste, space is limited and i heard many people checking in did not get parking on site. The only major critique is the area around the hotel. People should be aware that it us located across the street from a shelter for the unhoused and we did witnesd drug use. I wouldn't have felt safe walking from the city centre at night but Uber is a good, fairly cheap option. Just something to keep in mind. This would'nt deter us ftom staying here in the future.

We loved the hotel but this location was pretty rough. A lot of homeless and heavy drug use right outside. It was nice to be able to park underneath the hotel in the garage.

For anything related to room service, we had to go to to reception as they always gave excuses of not having someone to deliver in room. Even, when we arrived, it took time before someone attended us. Further, they always had an excuse but no apology for anything!
