Extremely noisy, had to sleep with earplugs. The hallways aren’t soundproof but also the siding on the hotel makes a ton of noise in the wind so it sounded like there was construction 24/7.

Top spot to visit and staff at the front desk are courteous. However, room pictures were deceiving, the reality is that rooms have very low ceiling and much darker than advertised. Very thin walls so you can hear all the noises (including the renovations happening above us) and room had carpets from the 80s. Not to mention that an employee was running door lock tests and opened the door twice while it was on do not disturb. Not a great experience!

Everything was great super clean and good customer service. My only suggestion would be to have more comfortable mattresses and bedding / comforters and sheets. The mattress was really really hard and the linens starchy. Not inviting.

Les Suites Hotel Ottawa is in a good location near Byward Market, University of Ottawa and Parliament. The staff are friendly and the room was clean. Furniture looks older.

Having suites downtown is great, updated room was great, no carpet is a plus. We’ve stayed here a few other times and will probably stay again. Didn’t like overall uncleanliness, example - the elevator was filthy. Fridge in room was not cold (freezer was fine), bathroom fan was hanging loose from ceiling.
