Great property. Close to everything. Staff is really nice and attentive. Beautiful place to stay and do some work from the lobby as well. My only issue was that the housekeeping cart was left all night beside my door. Little detail that should be taken care off. Other than that, my new to go hotel in Ottawa.

Loved this hotel - so beautiful! I would definitely stay here again. I loved the complimentary robe and slippers. Great location -short walk downtown as well as to great restaurants. We were even able to watch the Santa Claus parade from our windows.

We had a quick getaway for a weekend in Ottawa and chose The Metcalf Hotel. It was a great choice. The location was walking distance to the major sights and the local area was clean and quiet. Particularly helpful was Patrick the valet. After a long drive, Patrick parked our EV car and fully charged the battery- what a nice touch. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. This will be our go to hotel when returning to Ottawa.

The room was big, but the washroom was tiny. With our toddler, it was hard to manage. I also noticed a lot of dust and lint around the bed because my kid was playing on the floor. It was shocking because the first impression I got from stepping into the hotel was that it was wow.
