This hotel is not what is once was. It used to be very upscale. The first couple of times we went, the staff knew your name within a day of you being there and would go over the top to make you happy, not anymore. I called the front desk to ask about charges and the woman threw me on hold without telling me and then another woman got on the phone and told me it would be easier to come downstairs. I was trying to understand why they were taking out charges when I already paid 200.00 per night to cover incidentals and had not went over that amount. They not only hold 200.00 per night but also take out everything you charge all while still holding your 200.00 per night. We asked for an upgrade to a balcony and was told that would be an additional 300 and something per night. It’s all about money there without the service. The food is mediocre and the halls need an upgrade. It’s a decent hotel and clean but just not worth what you will pay.
