"Just returned home from Mayakoba and we absolutely loved it! The property is beautiful and the rooftop bar looking over the ocean was our favourite! Arrive at 6 pm for a complimentary mixology class and then sip your cocktail while enjoying the stunning sunset. We also loved our complimentary river cruise throughout Mayakoba. In my opinion, The Fairmont is the most beautiful of the four hotels. We didn't have a problem finding loungers throughout the day by the pools or beach. They don't allow you to reserve them, so there's always options. The restaurants were delicious, we loved them all. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend The Fairmont Mayakoba if you're looking for quiet luxury in Mexico. "

"The bathroom flooded. The drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom all the way to the closet. The shower had to be replaced too. I asked to switch rooms and was promised an upgrade and it never happened"
