My husband and I liked our stay there but there was issues with the heating in our room and they were able to change our room. Though the water was not terribly hot in the shower.

As a family of four with two teenagers, we had a great two week stay at the Elk and Avenue. Staff were helpful. Parking in Banff can be a nightmare. Our vehicle was over the 6' 1" allowance for the hotel car park but we were offered alternative parking at the back of the hotel at a great rate. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Great looking hotel with areas to sit and just chill if needed. Room service was good, no matter what time you left the room. Nice hot tub and sauna. Only downside was the work being done in the lobby rest rooms and interruptions to water. This shouldn't affect people staying in the future though. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks Elk and Avenue.

Nice hotel. Loved that there was a restaurant and a coffee shop in the building. Check in and check out were easy peasy. Very close to downtown (basically in downtown) and very walkable. Overall, very good stay.
