The Metcalfe Hotel is a beautiful place to stay. I loved the welcoming lobby with natural light coming from the skylight and the wood book shelves adding to the ambiance. The menu at Cocotte was excellent. The restaurant and hotel staff were all friendly and professional. My room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. I look forward to returning to this downtown Ottawa gem of a hotel.

Nice stay at the Metcalf hotel. Good location in downtown Ottawa. Great staff . Valet parking was efficient. Cocotte bistro had great French bistro food .

Modern and stylish boutique hotel in a convenient downtown location. We stayed in a 6th floor corner room which was beautiful. My main negative is that it seemed impossible to give the room above 21 degrees despite setting it at 24 so it was a bit cold and the air was very dry. Heated floors in the bathroom would’ve been nice. Otherwise a great stay - plus the food at the restaurant was delicious!
