Basic hotel in excellent location
Very basic hotel with a few rooms, small bed and no thrills room with above average breakfast ... but location is extraordinary with Byeard Market 5 min walk and Parliament Hill 15 min walk

Good place with a nice breakfast! Bathroom shower had a some hairs in it but otherwise very clean. Perfect walking distance from Byward market.

Tucked away at a quieter part of the Byward Market. I had a decent sleep there after a late night out in the market. Rooms seemed renovated. I found it clean and comfortable. The included continental breakfast was very decent actually.

Gem of a little hotel
We were passing through Ottawa and wanted to stop to visit our son for a couple nights. We booked last minute not sure what Byward Blue would be like. It was great. Excellent location. European style rooms and a great breakfast. The coffee was very good as well!

My stay was excellent. I got a room at the ground level (same as frontdesk), good size, high ceiling with patio access. The hotel is close to many restaurants. The breakfast was plentiful with a good variaty of food. I higly recommend it.
