The Norwich is a bit outdated. But.....that's part of it's charm. The staff are very nice and the rooms are clean. The beds are especially comfy. It is my go-to place

There is only one major complaint I have is that our very first evening there. My sister was starting to cough a lot and my sinus allergy was starting to kick in. It wasn't till early in the morning that we realized that there was a problem with the carpet or maybe even the drapes. Apparently it accumulated so much deep dust. It did look clean but it needs to be deep cleaned. What we ended up doing. Was opening up the window (wide) and putting the AC full blast in order to hang out or fully sleep in the room longer, without getting fully attacked with our allergies ( and of course take our allergie meds)

The room was a little damp all the time (even with fan or A/C running) and the mattress lumpy. Be prepared for waits at check-out, as the front desk is often unattended for short periods. The evening check-in manager was surly to the point of rudeness. I began by saying, "Hi, how are you tonight?" and his reply was an unsmiling & deeply sarcastic, "Peachy." Really an unpleasant fellow. The price is ok, but don't count on great service.

Everything was more than expected. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and very informative with good places to eat. Overall, I am looking forward to staying there again, i highly recommend it!
