Rudy Mendoza at the front desk was amazing. So helpful and assisted us with planning outings and dining selections. Service at the pool/pizza restaurant were exceptional. The pizza was so good! Edson was the best! Upstairs at Los Olivos everyone was extremely nice, great service and even gave us seafood recommendations. All the staff were warm, welcoming and so sweet. We will definitely be coming back.

I highly recommend LA mission, the staff are awesome. The rooms are very nice. The breakfast buffet? It's very good and the dining room menu. It's impeccable. I took my mother down To enjoy Loreto, she is 90. They are very, very accommodating and she had an excellent time. I can't say enough good about our experience

Big hotel on the waterfront
La Mision seems to be the largest and perhaps highest-priced hotel in the town of Loreto proper. It's right in the middle of the waterfront. The pool is nice and the property is in immaculate condition. For the price, it would be nice to have a small frig. They provided drinking water only on the first day; after that we had to buy it. There's a poolside bar but you have to go in to order, the waiters never come around to ask if you need anything - which they should, in an upper-level hotel. If you choose an ocean-view room, pay attention to the room number at check-in. The 1st floor rooms open directly onto the pool deck and don't really have a view due to the wall around the pool. That's great if you like the pool access and don't mind the lack of privacy, otherwise request an upper floor.

The staff could not be nicer The food was excellent, probably the best in the area. our room was amazing, wide open view of the ocean. the room was very clean and well maintained each day Two things the room was lacking was a refrigerator and a microwave. other than that it was top notch what we did not like was the locals drive by with loud stereos and heavy bass and blast their music till midnight. that would definitely keep me from coming back. hotel zones should be a quiet zone
