The hotel was not upto Hyatt standard. At this price it is expensive. The room was small. The location is very far from the downtown, although while booking on Expedia it showed closer. We were 3 in a room and the only option was a king and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not comfortable for sleeping. We had to ask for more blankets due to the cold. The service was not great. Shaving cream was at an extra charge with the kit. The breakfast was good. Don’t recommend staying here at the price, if you come as a tourist to Ottawa.

A bit noisy with 2 hockey and one soccer kids teams in residence but not disturbing. Good breakfasts that are better than most and well organized and maintained throughout the breakfast periods. Appreciated the room layout with sitting area. Large shiny clean bathroom and King bed all appreciated. $30 in municipal and sales taxes a night does add to the bill but this is not in the hotel's control, i km off major highway #417 near #416
